Enjoy both the gorgeous Door County sunrise and sunset all at one location - Gordon’s Isle View. Situated on Riley’s Point, just 10 minutes south of Sturgeon Bay – our private waterfront property will give you the slow pace environment that you have been craving along with the convenience of the unique shopping and activities that the Door Peninsula has to offer.
Old world charm mixed with modern day convenience adds to the enjoyment of your stay. Both our ISLE VIEW CABIN(this property) & HOUSE(#570935) offer an open concept living area with ample entertaining space. Hardwood floors, cathedral ceilings, large bay windows, and family antiques decorate our homes.
Both our ISLE VIEW CABIN (this property) & HOUSE(#570935) are located on our waterfront property, each having it's own private yard. The ”Cabin” is a very spacious 2 bedroom, plus a sofa sleeper, loft area(additional bed), 1 bath, full kitchen, open living area and a large screened in porch that overlooks the water . Our CABIN is equipped with modern appliances and has a completely furnished kitchen as well as TV/DVD and A/C. All linens are supplied.
Although our properties are adjoined, they each offer a large private yard with mature trees, furnished with lawn furniture, Weber charcoal grill, grilling utensils, and a fire pit. Parking for boats can be easily accommodated.
Local amenities include: Sunset on Riley's Point-dining, boat launching, kayak and paddle board rentals. Sunset on Riley's Point is within walking distance and they will deliver kayak's or paddle boards right to your yard if you choose to rent one from them.. Wave Pointe-boat rentals, boat launching. Carmody Park-boat launching, just around the corner), Quick Mart-fuel, groceries, bait, Potawatomi State Park offers canoe and kayak rentals (5 minutes), Haines Park (sand beach- 2 miles).

Summary: The setting is right on the water and peaceful. Many amenities made for a carefree stay. The sleeping loft climb might be a challenge for older folks. Although somewhat south of the peninsula proper we found this location completely convenient to everything in Door including Washington Island, and there are neat places in Sturgeon Bay. Would recommend.

Summary: We stayed here for the second time in two years and continue to love the location and cosines of the cabin. It’s very clean and well-kept. Just 15 minutes from Sturgeon Bay and 45 minutes from Egg Harbor and Fish Creek. The lake view is what we enjoy a lot, as well as building a fire in the fireplace. Easy in, easy out. This is a wonderful place to get away from it all.

Summary: The cabin was clean and a great size for our needs. Location in a small residential community with a local resident to walk to was wonderful. Bay front was super peaceful. Cabin was clean. We didn't really use the loft bed, as it was a little sketchy for the young kids to get up and down the ladder and not the most comfortable for adults. But definitely a cool spot. If you plan to do any cooking, be sure to bring all ingredients you'll need (including any butter/oil, salt, etc.).
