Summary: We loved the place, it was clean, great size for our party, super comfortable, beautiful location, very cozy and our kids loved the snow, we loved the snow but it was a challenge to get up and down the front walk with the snow. It would’ve been great to access the garage from the driveway when things are snowy/icy. The same code for the house did not work at the garage door. Overall I definitely recommend this place and would love to go again!

Summary: We had so much fun playing in the snow at the property! There were plenty of beds, and the wood stove was really nice to have. It was definitely worth the drive in.

Summary: A wonderful cozy cabin for our December stay. Very comfortable to relax and read and watch TV, and a great fenced-in backyard for our dogs. Secluded and very quiet, we hardly saw anyone else around in the winter....although we had a friendly neighbor dog that would come around to visit occasionally. There was tons of snow during our stay, but fortunately the road/driveway to the cabin was plowed after each dump, or we might have had a little trouble getting in and out. The road up was cleared often, so no problems on the drive up, but winter conditions can be tricky, good idea to carry chains or have a 4-wheel drive if snow is possible. Hosts were very responsive, and we felt well taken care of. We’d love to come back, maybe in the summer next time to check out the lake and surrounding area, it looked beautiful.

Summary: We enjoyed our week in this cabin cooking meals and enjoying the snowfall. We drove down to Ashland for food supplies and for a meal out at a brewery. Since some of us were still working for a few days we used a hot spot to augment the Wi-Fi. It’s a very dog friendly house and our golden had a blast and got along great with the neighbor dog. Comfortable getaway.

Summary: The house and surrounding areas were great for our family. Having the extra space for kids to play and the foosball table entertained the little ones in the evenings. Easy access to a ton of outdoor activities. Communication was easy and quick, which we really appreciate it.

Summary: Very clean and comfortable, and the internet connection worked well enough (not cell coverage inside the house but decent outside, esp closer to the lake). Well equipped kitchen although a few utensils are old and could do with replacing. Would also have appreciated some firewood for the stove, either ready chopped or at least for chopping. Note that the lake is not swimable right now due to very low water level. Hosts easy to communicate with and friendly.
