Positive: Very comfortable! Very close to everything we wanted to do in Ashland but still quiet and out in the country!
Negative: It was quite warm while we were there ( 95 degrees +) so the air conditioner in the living room did not quite make it to the bedroom. We did position a fan,( that we found in king bedroom closet) in the hallway to bring some of the cooler air in and that helped.
Summary: Beautiful home, well furnished with the added bonus of deer and wild turkeys!

Negative: Stairs to upper floor were awfully steep (tall rise) and necessary to get to bathroom downstairs, but apparently designed that way to avoid hitting head on beam.

Positive: It was 100 degrees+ outside when we were there, and the house stayed nice and cool inside. The house was well-appointed, nicely designed, and well-stocked with everything we needed (cookware, towels, etc). Lots of areas to chill and spread out. Comfy beds. Huge soaking tub in the bathroom! Very short drive to town. Hosts were great ... and responsive. Learning about the house and property was fun.
Negative: WiFi in the LR maxed out at 6mbps and was often less, which meant that on at least one night, we couldn't watch Netflix and even checking email was a painfully slow process. WiFi in bedrooms worked well. If they fix just this one thing, and I'm guessing they will, it would have been a PERFECT getaway experience.
