Summary: Nice house, perfectly situated for climing the passo Stelvio and other climbes in the neighborhood. We only missed an oven in the kitchen.

Summary: Located very nearby Bormio with a fantastic view over the valley. The house is well maintained and very clean. The only missing feature was an oven. Also the contact with the owners was very good. If you like skiing, cycling or wandering in the mountains, this is a fantastic place to stay. Regards, Fam. Avezaat

Summary: My husband and I stayed for a week in July. The apartment was clean and quiet. It was even better than what is shown on the pictures, and the pictures are great. It was spacious. We used the front deck to rest/read after a long day of hiking. It had a beautiful view of the mountains. We sat out in the yard a couple times in the evenings on lawn chairs that were provided. We had wonderful weather except for one day it rained a few hours. We used the umbrella provided and did some shopping in town. The apartment is in a central location. It's at the bottom of the Stelvia Pass, close to the Gavia Pass, close to the many hiking trails in town and minutes to shopping and markets. We used the kitchen to cook dinner three times and had everything we needed (no oven but we worked around that using the stove top). Wonderful shower, comfortable beds. The washing machine and drying rack was a life saver, as we were out of clean clothes by the time we arrived (we'd been traveling prior). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't recommend it enough.

Summary: Our family of 4 stayed at this property for 2 weeks in February 2020. We cannot recommend it highly enough. Despite arriving late, the owners, Marco and Paola, offered us a very warm welcome on arrival. Both speak excellent English and were keen to make us feel at home. Lots of useful information about the area was made available and we were given a helpful tour of the property. The property itself is very well located just outside Bormio on the road to Isollacia. Bormio itself is a short 5 minute drive away and we were actually glad to be outside the main town centre. The property has parking for 1 or 2 cars and the occasional traffic from the road behind cannot be heard from inside the property. The property itself is the top floor of a 3 story house, accessible from its own entrance (the other 2 floors are also available to rent). It has 2 good sized bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and the other with a bunk bed and single bed. The bathroom and kitchen have both been recently fitted and are modern in style. There is a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and electric hob (but no oven). All necessary kitchen utensils were provided. The living area comprises a large dining table and two sofas, with a couple of coffee tables and a log fire. The whole property has been lovingly furnished with plenty of interesting pictures and decorative pieces, many with a skiing / mountaineering theme. It felt like a ski chalet home away from home. There is a good size ski boot room on the ground floor and a large balcony runs across the front of the property. Accessible from both the living room and the master bedroom it provides exquisite views of the length of the Bormio valley. Truly this was something we never tired of during our stay. There is also a grassed area around the property which was suitable for our children to explore. We were visited by a flock of sheep wearing bells on one occasion, much to their enjoyment. All in all, a fantastic property run by welcoming hosts. We feel lucky to have found it and have already booked again for next year!

Summary: We really felt at home in this beautiful chalet and can highly recommend it. The chalet is fully equipped and warmly decorated in order to allow for a very comfortabel stay, Its location (at the footh of the Stelvio) is perfect for cycling and hiking trips and within walking distance from charming Bormio. We will definitely come back! Thank you Paola for your hospitality.
