Positive: Location , it was clean, bed was comfortable but pillows were not great, sheets had pilling and were polyester. View was lovely. Kitchen was adequately supplied.

Negative: Furnished sparsely(no side tables to set your drink down) room deodorizers were cloying. No place to put your feet up.

Positive: The location was perfect. Easy access to the major highways, close to stores and restaurants, but the house is tucked away in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The house is very spacious, much bigger than we expected. Though some of the space is unusable, just empty space. There is minimal furniture in the house, and what is there, isn’t very comfortable. Only 1 useable TV and a short, hard couch in front of it in the main living area. The basement did have a couch and TV but no remote or heat, and it had a funky smell down there. The house was very clean! As a cleaner, I was very impressed by that. We loved the waffle maker and espresso machine. The appliances were updated and we didn’t find ourselves in need of anything that wasn’t there for a 2 night stay.

Negative: We were grateful to be allowed to check in an hour early, but the heat was not on when we arrived and it was 53 degrees inside the house. It took several hours to heat up. The beds were all extremely firm. I don’t normally mind a firmer mattress, but they were all SO firm, my body hurt in the morning. A variety of comfort levels on different beds, may be a better option. The kitchen was very disorganized. There was a good variety of supplies offered, but I recommend organizing the kitchen and labeling things. We had to search every cabinet and drawer as things were very scattered around. We needed a toilet plunger after the first night and none was provided, so we couldn’t use the master bathroom for the rest of the stay. We couldn’t find a garbage bin to take our garbage out, so our garbage piled up and we did the best we could. Provided bins were much smaller than normal household bins. There was no house manual. Some instructions on how to utilize even the front door lock would be helpful. There is a projector in one room, but no instructions. There is a wood-stove, but no instructions. Something simple to show what’s offered in the house and how to use it would be helpful. Overall, we felt it was a great value for what we received. The power went out the night before checkout, but to no fault of the owner. We would stay here again if ever in the area. The host seems to care a lot about the property.

Positive: The property was off a river. Which was BEAUTIFUL! I got there in the evening and when I saw the view in the morning, I was blown away! The house itself smelled amazing clean. It felt like walking into home.

Positive: The location was beautiful! Right on the river and very quaint and quiet. Excellent location close to town and had peaceful mornings and evenings. Plenty of bedrooms and comfortable beds. Fully equipped bathrooms with all necessities. Communication with the host was very easy and responsive. It was very easy to get the door code and WiFi password upon check in. The host was very friendly as well!

Negative: Only thing to add is maybe more cooking supplies - frying pans and more pots and pans would be wonderful, more bowls and plates - and maybe more spices would be great! I had to get more spices on my own, including salt and pepper. The kitchen garbage bin was also very, very small, and the provided garbage bags tore easily, which required me to take the garbage bags to the bins at least once a day. Easy fixes, otherwise amazing stay! Would definitely come back again.
