Perfect for groups of up to 8, you'll be right in the middle of Bourbon Country. Just a few blocks from the famous Bardstown Road Highlands, you can shop, sip, eat, and explore....oh and did we mention you can come back home to a hot, relaxing, bubbly hot tub!

The home itself feature 3 private bedrooms, each with a comfortable queen bed and Smart TV. The living room has a Queen sleeper sofa with a comfy mattress topper and a 4th Smart TV. There are 2 full bathrooms, each with a shower/tub combination. Our stackable, front loading washer/dryer makes The Wellingmoor a perfect base camp for extended reservations. The open concept kitchen has all of the modern appliances and amenities you would expect and is great for preparing meals at home or ordering in, complete with granite counter tops, custom cabinets, and stylish back splash. You will find bar height seating for 6 in the dining area. This charming home is finished with modern decor on the interior.
Make your way outside to the private, fenced in backyard. You can relax and entertain year round on our patio with seating for 8, string lighting, gas grill, and propane outdoor fire pit. Recharge and unwind in our deluxe hot tub, cleaned and serviced weekly.
RENTAL AGREEMENT/REQUEST FOR CONTACT INFORMATION: In accordance with booking platform policy and local regulations, guests are required to provide contact information and sign all Rental Agreements within 24 hours of booking. If guests do not complete or refuse to sign the rental agreement, host reserves the right to cancel the reservation without penalty and the cancellation policy will still apply.
WIFI: All guests will be asked to enter email and phone number in order to access the free WiFi at this location. Contact confirmation is optional. In accordance with booking platform policy, we use apps to facilitate our guest experience and these apps may request contact information before, during, and after your confirmed stay.
KENTUCKY DERBY: All Kentucky Derby week/weekend reservations are non refundable, regardless of whether or not a rental agreement has been signed.
RECORDING DEVICES: Recording devices are located on the exterior of the property. Devices record audio and video and recordings are triggered by motion. Devices will be active during guests stay. Recording devices only capture views of the exterior. Guest safety and privacy are top priorities. These recording devices exist solely for the safety and security of our great guests!
NO SMOKING: Absolutely no smoking or vaping inside the home
CHECK IN: Contactless check in is available until 10 pm EST via keypad. Any guests planning to check in after 10 pm EST must notify the host in writing prior to 10 pm to make accommodations for after hours check in. The host may not be available to assist with any check in issues between 10 pm and 9 am EST
NUMBER OF GUESTS WE HOST: We expect to only host the number of people on your reservation only. For insurance and safety purposes, please make sure your reservation reflects the accurate number of people. Otherwise you may be subject to a fee and you may be asked to leave.
NOISE LEVELS: Please be mindful of noise levels at all times and be respectful of neighbors by adhering to the quiet hours.
PARTIES/EVENTS: Absolutely no parties or events are allowed without written approval from the host prior to check in.

Summary: We found the communication with the owner to be very easy and they responded very quickly to any question we had. We knew the house was small, but it felt very tight inside with our family. Although it appeared clean, we noticed some things that made us feel uncomfortable. The house was cute on the outside, and they did a nice job, trying to update it on the inside, however, it’s an old house that has been remodeled, and we noticed a musty (old house) smell when we walked in the front door. Our family is very sensitive to that so it bothered us, maybe more than it would others.The hot tub was the highlight of our stay and had we not had that it would’ve been a rough weekend. Overall, that is why we gave it lower ratings. You might want to bring your own blankets, as the ones provided were very thin and not very clean. The owner provided just about everything we needed on the inside for it to be an easy stay regarding food preparation and doing our laundry.

Summary: The house was really nice and close to downtown. The only issue we had had was a broken bed frame, but they were there in a hour to fix it. We will definitely stay there again.

Summary: Enjoyed the property. Located right off highway so 15 minutes or less to most Louisville locations. House and amenities are as described and pictured. Enjoyed back yard area with hot tub, table and chairs. About an hour ride to Bardstown and Frankfort / Versailles distilleries.

Summary: Five family members stayed to attend the National Archery Competition. The home was very clean, newly renovated and well equipped. Exactly what we needed. It is in an older neighborhood, but the other homes are nice and it was quiet. I would stay again and recommend it to others.
