Positive: Great location and decor/facilities.comfy bed. Electric fan. Biscuits and tea in room

Negative: Pillows too soft for me Aircon controls impossible to change Bedside reading light too high had to get out of bed and stand up to turn off Large room so why not a Superking bed?

Summary: Mostly good, coukd have been amazing if bed bigger, choice of firm or soft pillow and improve aircon

Positive: We really enjoyed our time here. So peaceful, Impeccably clean, the room contained everything needed for a short stay.The bed was super comfortable the furnishings charming, and the double shower excellent. We felt a lot of thought had gone into anticipating the guests needs. The welcome tray was a nice touch containing an array of teas/ coffees/ biscuits,chocolates etc and the luxury toiletries were lovely. Would have liked to have stayed longer.

Positive: Where do I start? What a fabulous experience at this hotel. Excellent location, exceptional facilities, and overall a perfect place to stay in Thornham. Furthermore, Jonathan was easy to work with to correct a small, weird billing error that was no fault of his. This is what every hotel should be like - highest marks, deservedly so. Thank you!

Positive: Beautiful little find. Slept very well, bed and bedding was very comfortable and we had everything we personally needed. Communication with the owner was great too.

Negative: Having to go to the fridge downstairs for the milk for our morning brew. A mini fridge in the room would work better, or the sachets of milk. Although we weren't interested in using the hot tub, if I'd have wanted to I would have been put off with not having anyone there to advise on how to use it or turn it on....
