The Gold Cup Cabin lies next to the old road that leads to the once prosperous gold mine Gold Cup. The road is now a part overgrown trail that is used in harmony by guests and visiting wildlife alike. All cabins feature a great variety of decorations from the owners' private collection of world artifacts. The Gold Cup's interior finishing & decoration is themed "Persian Asian". Kindly note that there is no direct vehicle access to the cabin - we will always be there to assist you with your luggage to your cabin when you check-in and check-out. The walking distance from the cabin to the common parking area is app. 150 meters.Centrally located in the BC Kootenays and only 20 km from Nelson, our boutique mountain lodge offers four very private and luxury cabins set on 42 acres of private forest land to enjoy all mother nature has to offer - and do so in great comfort.
Each cabin comes with its own unique lay-out, design and furnishings, blending the truly rustic - think: large timbers, hardwood flooring, antiques, a woodstove - with the truly luxurious.
Apart from 800 square feet of living space, 2 bedrooms comfortably sleeping up to 5 persons and a fully equipped kitchen, you also get to enjoy a large soaker bath, top quality bedding, soft robes, catering or massage services delivered at your cabin and a rich decoration of world artifacts.

A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 60 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 30 to 59 days before check-in. Our house rules: no smoking, parties permitted, no pets.
Smoking is permitted on your private outside veranda only (ashtray provided). Failure to comply will result in a CA$250 extra charge.
Your cabin comes with a fully equipped kitchen to prepare your own meals. In addition we offer catering services incl. breakfast, lunch and dinner, all delivered straight to your cabin. Please notify us for our menu and availability. The lodge also offers in-cabin massage services as well. The in-cabin massage services can be requested directly through us.
We maintain a few snowshoe trails on our property and adjacent crown land, all directly accessible from your cabin. Snowshoes are available for daily rental.

Summary: Love staying at the Logden Lodge with my dogs! Quiet, close to nature, great trails for walking, very friendly for dogs. The owners have been so lovely, and I feel so safe staying here. It’s now a yearly trip!

Summary: My pups and I had such a beautiful time at the lodge. The cabin was perfect and cozy and so comfortable. The location was fantastic and we got to reconnect with nature. The hosts were so lovely and accommodating. One of the best holidays I’ve ever had and I can’t wait to go back!

Summary: This is an absolutely gem of a property in a truly picturesque area with generous, kind and attentive owners who have thoughtfully put detailed attention into every single aspect of the house and surrounding property. The house has a perfect blend of feeling private, quiet and peaceful while also being incredibly easy to access. Details and care have been put into the entire experience from the moment you park to the moment you leave. I can’t recommend this property enough and if you happen to downhill ski, Whitewater ski resort is one of the best on the planet and the backcountry (both near the resort and by this cabin) are truly unmatched.

Summary: I spent a weekend with my adult daughter to have some mom/daughter time. The cabin was perfect for our needs. The owners were helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. We had a wonderful stay.

Summary: Seriously the beat hidden gem in the mountains . Paul is an amazing host. So friendly and helpful Everything, even down to the wood stacks is beautiful. It's like art. The cabin is so lovely. I definitely over packed, and used the second room as a closet. It was also too short of a visit. Instead of 4 nights next time I'm coming for at least 10 days.

Summary: Amazing experience right from initial booking until we pulled out of the yard. Paul was extremely responsive to email questions right from the get go. When we arrived we were thrilled with being nestled into the redwoods. The cabin was beautifully appointed and we wanted for nothing. Our wonderful hosts had great ideas for activities and it is really wonderful that they focus heavily on supporting local artists and tradespeople. We highly recommend the catering services as the service was wonderful and the food was fantastic. Can't say enough good things about our experiences and we are already planning to go back. Thank you, Logden Lodge, for a wonderful week!

Summary: The Gold Cup Cabin was amazing! The property is beautiful and has an incredible calming and restorative energy. We enjoyed sleeping with the windows open at night and listening to the bubbling creek and overall quietness. The cabin itself was spotless and when you opened the door you were greeted with a lovely cedar smell. The beds were extremely comfortable and the amenities are just what you need for a cabin getaway. We stayed with our 11 yr old daughter and our dog and they both really enjoyed going for nightly walks up the hiking trail behind the cabins. Make sure to stop at the overlook! I would recommend staying here for anyone looking to unplug, unwind and enjoy nature (they do have wifi - if needed). I will also commend Paul and Annalise for a job well done on making their property green. Composting for each cabin, water is directly sourced from the local creek and utilizing hydro energy. Well done! Cannot wait to come back and visit again.
