Positive: The place feels like a lovely little cottage in the woods. This is perfect for a small group. The highlight of this place is the backyard, they have access to the lake, have a deck, as well as bonfire set up. For the summer they also have Kayaks, Paddleboat, etc. However, we visited in winter time, the lake was frozen but it was still a beautiful experience. The hosts were also very helpful and responsive and the checkin process was easy.
Negative: There are some rules for the house to know which might not be the most convenient for all - 1) You need to bring your own bedsheets / pillowcase. 2) Also your own TP and paper towels (they do provide a starter pack, and we didn’t need to use our own, but we were recommended by the host to get extra). 3) The main thing is garbage disposal, this needs to be disposed at the dumpyard which is 5kms away from the property (7-10 mins of drive). We had to take a detour for the garbage which wasn’t the most convenient thing. Also, it opens at 10am, so if you want an early checkout, that’s a consideration.

Positive: Lake was beautiful, cottage lovely and all newly done up. Wish we had more time to stay and enjoy it all. The outside space was very nice, lots of places to sit and enjoy the view, fireplace, company.
