Positive: The cabin is huge! Bigger than the photos suggest and great for a couple. The cabin is secluded away from the others on site so there is plenty of privacy. Everything there is in good condition and clean. We wished we had booked longer than three nights.
Negative: There was no kitchen towel or washing up liquid. While there is a dishwasher, it was a little inconvenient not being able to wash a small number of items. Overall this was minor but it took away from the almost perfect experience.

Positive: This holiday cabin is amazing. We love everything about it! We have visited before, and hopefully we will visit again in the future. The location is amazing with wonderful views. The cabin is secluded and feels private. It is very clean inside and out, and has everything you need. The private facilities are amazing including a hot tub, a very large jacuzzi bath, and a sauna. There is also the convenience of a dishwasher and a washing machine. The host, Hazel, is lovely and goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is comfortable. This is a wonderful place to visit and I would highly recommend it.
Negative: There is nothing that we didn't like! If I had one piece of advice it would be the inclusion of a tumble dryer or washer dryer for convenience, also maybe a new frying pan.
Summary: A wonderfully relaxing, rejuvenating and peaceful holiday experience!

Positive: The Bracken Log Cabin was an excellent experience. Hazel and John were very welcoming, taking the time out to quickly see us, on our first holiday together, explaining the information about the cabin and answering any questions we had. Facilities wise the cabin sports an external hot tub, a multifunctional shower, and a large couples bathtub with spray functions, which was preferable to stepping outside against the weather for the jacuzzi and an indoor sauna, also in the bathroom. The bedroom area was very spacious and the bed itself was very comfortable, offering a great night's sleep. The living room and kitchen were a great and cosy space, perfect for chilling out after a long day in the local area. Speaking of, the local area has many great options. The Famous Baen Inn was a nice Inn that was visited, only 10 minutes away, offering great dinner and breakfast options. Perth also has all your necessities and additional places like many good, varied food or takeaway options. Edinburgh was only an hour's drive away which was easily one solid day out with plenty to do that could be stretched over 2-3 days. Another visit we made was to Loch Lomond and Balloch country park which was an hour and a half away, offering some of the most beautiful scenery I've seen in the UK. High praise, considering I drive all over the UK. Lastly, all I can say is this experience was really special and made my and my partner's first holiday together very special. We already have and will continue to recommend it to friends and family going forward.
Negative: The one improvement I noted immediately was that the photos do not do this cabin justice. It looks really good, it is however even better than shown in the photos! I would recommend some new photos are taken especially of the gorgeous bathroom and all the facilities on offer. The one issue we did have, was on the last night we felt it was a little colder and the water in the shower struggled to get up to temperature. It wasn't a big deal as spare plug-in heaters are there to use if required. The shower, I can't explain what happened, though we did just fully run the bath before it, so maybe it had an effect. Neither of these would prevent me from staying in future and through the night it was certainly much warmer again, as it had been over almost all the time there.
