Positive: Close to the train station and close to shops etc. Spacious room, everything was neat, clean and tidy. Very nice common area as well. Host was very welcoming, helpful and kind.

Negative: I would give this place 10 if there was a sheet/blanket to cover me at night and wifi.

Positive: Impressive! Honestly, the best accommodation near Polonnaruwa. The place was incredibly clean — truly spotless. The cleanest place we stayed in during our entire trip around Sri Lanka. Wherever you looked, there wasn’t a single hair, insect, or speck of dust. Absolutely perfect, and best of all, it was extremely quiet and peaceful. The rooms are very spacious and completely new. They have both air conditioning and a fan, which is perfect. The bathroom is fully enclosed, which is great. There is also a private entrance and a beautiful little front patio where you can watch squirrels and small birds. There is also a small kitchen where you can prepare your own breakfast or a light meal, with a kettle, kitchenette, and basic cooking utensils. The family who runs the place is wonderful — incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. The father even helped me find a laundry service at a very good price. There is a supermarket and several fruit shops just five minutes away. The location is actually a big advantage: it’s outside the busy center, so it’s much more peaceful and relaxing, but still perfectly located to explore the whole area.

Negative: Nothing at all. Everything was absolutely perfect.

Summary: The cleanest and most peaceful stay of Sri Lanka!

Positive: The stay was perfect. The rooms were clean and well arranged, and the washrooms were also clean and comfortable to use. We felt like it was our own place. It is very close to Kaduruwela, so we could easily buy anything we needed. The best part was the customer service. The owners of the property were very kind, caring, and supportive. They respected our privacy and did not disturb us at all. I would highly recommend this guest house to everyone.
