Summary: Beautiful spot! Neat as a pin. Lovely, large deck to enjoy the views, and soak up the final rays of September sun. Had a BBQ one evening and dined al fresco. Quick and easy entrance right next to the cottage to enjoy a walk on the ocean floor at low tide. A couple of us took the beach chairs supplied by the hosts and enjoyed a sip of wine way out on the cove one day. Convenient outdoor shower to rinse away the salty water and sand. All the necessary dishes, glassware and kitchen equipment to enjoy cottage-cooked meals! Small grocery store (Ceretti's) just a 7 minute or so drive for forgotten items. We will be booking this cottage again in 2025!

Summary: This house was wonderful to stay in. Immaculate and well equipped. Beware though if you are a senior or have mobility issues. The tub/shower sides are tall and tub deadly slippery. No grab bars. We were unable to shower our whole stay. We also had sleeping issues as the main bedroom with Sunk.wonderfully comfy king bed had a broken blind that would have kept the sunlight out of our eyes early morn. And the queen bed in another bed was broken...supporting slts were missing and broken so mattress

Summary: We were familiar with Augustine Cove prior to booking so that was already a plus since the location is one of my personal favourites. I typically do not lean toward modern design however I fully admit, the design of this space, for the environment it is located, was absolutely perfect! I have rented many different types of properties on the Island over the last 15 years and this was probably the most organized and well prepared space we have ever stayed in. They have certainly thought of everything you would need to have a great vacation!

Summary: We loved this cottage! The views are second to none and exploring the beach via the neighborhood path or staircase nearby was very convenient and easy at low tide. The kitchen is well appointed, everything is sparkling clean, the beds are comfy with nice linens and bath towels. A couple of comments - there is an outdoor beach shower - we loved it and it is not mentioned in the amenities and it should be! Also, there is now a microwave in the kitchen pantry! The tub/shower combo in the bathroom is hard to step in and out of - it's quite high and anyone with bad hips/knees will need to be extra careful - just FYI. Also while we were there the shade was broken (stuck down prior to our arrival) in the master bedroom so we were unable to enjoy the full view or easily access that second little sitting patio - this was just annoying but I understand things break but it was disappointing to us. And the outdoor BBQ grill was out of propane and it took 24 hours to get a new tank delivered. This could be avoided by having a back-up tank on premise like many other rental homes of this caliber. These are just a couple of small points. We loved this home and would highly recommend the property. The location, the view, the simple beachy decor and the cleanliness were top notch. This is a gem of a rental on PEI.

Summary: There's not much I could recommend to improve this rental. The location, deign, build and amenities were fantastic and way above average for any rental let alone one typically found in PEI. Victoria is the place to head to for meals out as it is only 15 minutes away (explored them all and Richard's was our favourite). Otherwise, stock up on necessities and enjoy the spectacular views.

Summary: We rented this place twice and would be back again. The first time we rented, a few years ago, the house was a new build - we fell in love with the location and the house and didn’t fuss too much about the lack of equipment given that we assumed the owners were new to renting their brand new home. A few years later, the place had the same effect on us but they didn’t address the lack of equipment. No excuses and certainly not acceptable for the price. When you pay over 4,000$ for 1 week, you expect a flawless experience and definitely not have to spend an additional 500$ in equipment for that week. Prepare yourselves to bring or purchase your own equipment: (TV, Microwave, Wine glasses, Wine bottle opener; Kitchen scissors; Kitchen knifes (big and small + bread knife); Peeler; Lemon/citrus squeezer; Garlic press;Measuring spoons, pizza pan (assume that everything you might need to cook is not there) We bought everything but only left our oyster and kitchen knifes behind for you to enjoy. I can attest that the internet is very slow making it difficult for 2 ppl teleworking at same time. (We rented the house next door a couple years ago and there’s was much faster). Last but not least, the actual building seem to have shifted a bit since construction (doors don’t close properly, cracks in ceiling, water damage beside the bath/toilet, the floor tiles in living area are lifting, etc. All in all, still worth it but bring your own stuff!

Summary: The property is amazing. Modern and minimalist - but with everything you need to make beautiful meals and enjoy the location. We had our young adult daughters and dog with us …we made great meals, played and cards and enjoyed gorgeous morning coffees. Waking around at low tide was an awesome daily highlight. We are all rested, refreshed and ready to tackle our September commitments now! Sincere thanks for sharing this awesome property.

Summary: I hesitate to share a review in fear of revealing the secret that is the majesty of PEI. This cottage and location over the Northumberland Straight are peerless. We had a wonderful week and are thinking of making it an annual thing.
