Summary: The property is nicely laid out. It was clean. Check in and out was easy. It doesn’t look newly remodeled as advertised based on King bedroom sheets and pillow case had stains and holes. Carpet is coming up. 4 towels for 3 people for 4 nights is not enough. The biggest issues it’s freezing there is no control over the thermostat. Had to ask for it to be turned up nightly. Not interested in using space heaters all night in a bedroom. There is no sound proofing. The king room is extremely loud. Footsteps from above sound like stomping and the house is old so it’s also sqeeking floor joists but it’s the footsteps that are so loud. They had guests Friday night and it was loud until midnight with stomping and voices. We could not sleep. The noise machines are useless. I tried ear plugs and EarPods with a movie playing it doesn’t help the sound problem. Someone should sleep Down there to understand how loud it is. I don’t believe the owners are actually stomping. It’s just the lack of soundproofing from normal walking. Every time they dropped something, it was super loud. I think you’re going to struggle to get the five star rating you wish with the loudness and the issue with the thermostat. I remained exhausted the duration of the trip. Unpleasant.
