Positive: Kitchen area looked clean and nice, I didn’t use.

Negative: I arrived in the dark at the rear by parking. A very aggressive was barking from presumably the owners balcony. As i approached the back door it barked more intensely which was scary and I’m a dog owner! Inside the signage to rooms was poor. Zero soundproofing between rooms - worst I’ve had in Norway. Room next door was playing music loud, then when they turned off someone more distant was playing. Zero owner presence or involvement so people just doing what they want.

Positive: Central location in Brekstad near ferry terminal and walking distance to restaurants. Room was comfortable and clean with bed linen and towels provided. Shared kitchen was a nice space to make own breakfast. Good areas for bird-watching within a short drive away at Garten, Grandefjæra, Uthaug and Hovsfjæra.

Summary: Comfortable room and quiet place for a night when exploring bird-watching sites around Ørlandet.

Positive: Very central location, good parking space. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed. The place has a large kitchen that can be used by guests. Overall a good choice for few days if you are visiting the area.

Negative: I would suggest some more organization around the kitchen and the doors, or better information to guests. Dishes and other stuff were avaialble in the kitchen, but there were no brushes and towels to wash and dry them after use. The front is always locked with a code (that is good!) but then other back doors were kept open. I understand that the town is very quiet and safe, but it did not leave a good impression.

Summary: Well-located and convenient place. Some improvements would make the place better.

Positive: The room was cozy and very warm. Convenient bed. No complaints

Negative: Although the kitchen was well equipped, there was neither coffee nor tea available for guests. It should be available especially during winter/autumn time. It was the only inconvenience for me.
