Positive: The location is very beautiful and close to all services. The villa is spacious and comfortable for spending a pleasant time with the family and going down to the beach.
Negative: I stayed for 4 days. For two days the water was very cold and there was no hot water in the bathrooms.

Positive: We had such a wonderful, relaxing winter break at Brenton Haven. The location is amazing, right on the beach, easy access to everything Garden Route has to offer. The units are well designed and comfortable, full kitchen facilities, nice patio with braai facilities and great showers with plenty hot water to warm up after a day spent outdoors. The staff was absolutely the best, so friendly and courteous with smiles and greetings all around, really made the whole place feel warm and welcoming even in the middle of the winter. The cleaning staff deserves an extra mention as they kept our unit spotless every day, such a treat on a holiday. Restaurant had fantastic food and service, the whole place gives a feel of a well managed and happy holiday resort, very impressed, highly recommend and definitely will be back!

Positive: This is a self catering hotel and not a regular hotel with room service and all (something i missed to read when booked) but having said that it has a well equipped kitchenette so no issues. The location and peace full environment. had booked a 2 bedroom villa - the smallest villa i have ever seen, it was very compact. There was an issue with the villa allotted to me (something about the air con), but i was offered a suite (spacious) instead in the main building which was nicer than the villa. Staff was polite and courteous and we enjoyed the stay. Very nice and friendly locals. 2 restaurants and 2 delis around the hotel.
Negative: The villa pix are kind of misleading, i thought the villas open on the beach but they have a diagonal sea view from the patio. Glad that we were given a option to switch the room. The water was muddy through out the stay so we could not use the bathtub, the maintenance said the pump had some issue and tried to fix it but no use, then we were told the main municipal water line was busted and every one in brenton was facing this problem. All in all a great place to stay cz of the amazing location
