Positive: Beautiful house, huge size, great location in a lovely little village with amazing pub, great host, lots of facilities, in general just a fantastic place to stay!
Negative: Only complaint was that our bed was a bit lumpy and uncomfortable, but everyone else who stayed said the other beds were just fine

Positive: Great location and perfect for what we wanted
Negative: A slight issue with the oven which we were notified of on the day prior to our arrival which was out of the host’s control. But used the grill and side oven without issue.

Positive: The Old Post Office is a delightful, spacious property in a pretty little village. We were 5 adults and enjoyed the open feel of the accommodation. The bedrooms were all of a very good size , one with a large ensuite and huge walk in wardrobe/ hanging space. The main bathroom was beautiful! The accommodation is well equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery and kitchenware. The pretty courtyard was a lovely spot for breakfast in the morning. Parking was readily available outside or just down the road by the excellent pub, The Fleece. The village shop is very well stocked with everything you need for a weekend away. The house is a great base for exploring the local countryside. We really enjoyed our stay and the owner was quick to respond to my questions . I thoroughly recommend The Old Post Office for a break in perfect English countryside.
Negative: A couple of extra fans would have been useful in the bedrooms as we stayed during the recent heatwave !

Positive: Beautiful location, spacious and had everything we needed for a lovely weekend. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Very flexible with departure time too. Just wish we’d been able to stay for longer! (Loved the touches with the history of the property)

Positive: This beautiful house is much bigger and better than it looks in the photos. The kitchen is fabulous and has everything you need All the beds are comfortable and the bedding very good quality. The larger bedroom has an en-suite which was a real bonus and there is a downstairs toilet aswell as the family bathroom which is huge. The outside area is nice in the warmer weather. The thing that makes this place so good ithough is the location. It is in a stunning little village, with beautiful chocolate box houses and a fabulous local village pub with lovely staff and great food. We would love to come back in the summer and do more exploring. Thanks Beverley for being a great host and being so helpful.
