Summary: I loved the history of the buildings & Gettysburg in general. The room was clean & decorated very historically & nicely. The staff was friendly. I've stayed at B&B's before. When I book a bed & breakfast, I expect a bed & breakfast. Not a bed with bfast costing $18.00 extra. The B&B is in two different buildings, that's cool. But if you stay in the Welty house you have to litterly walk next door to access refrig or microwave. TV is in a bad spot. Worst of all is the parking. The walk from the house to the parking lot is up a very steep hill. Not good for old folks or those with handicap issues. My wife is handicap & did fall walking down the steep hill. Nope Brickhouse Inn, we will not be staying there again. Hope this was helpful.

Summary: We loved the history of the house itself as well as the section of the town it is located in. The manager was very informative about the history of the house, which we found interesting. Staff in general were knowledgeable about places to visit beyond the battle grounds, dinning options and some specifics about touring the National Park. Breakfast (at additional cost) was delicius

Summary: This was our second visit and we enjoyed our stay both times. Very convenient location, nice people, good breakfast. My one criticism would be that we were never able to get the room cooled off, making it a little difficult to sleep.

Summary: Close to shops and restaurants. Walkable to cemetery which was nice. Room was impeccably clean. Grab and go breakfast is minimal. Didn’t try the full bfast as it was an added charge. Room was comfortable. It is old so sound does travel. We could hear the ghost tours that stopped on the property after 10pm and we were there during bike week and had a difficult time sleeping then however once the motorcycles left it was very quiet.
