Summary: It was a perfect time. The pictures are nice, but they don't show how marvellous this house on the large plot really is. We stayed in this house for almost three weeks in February. In short: it was fantastic. The house has everything you need for a great holiday. It is simply very lovingly and charmingly furnished. Wonderful. And Marianne and Michel are two wonderful hosts. And if we had any questions, we got very good answers straight away. We will definitely be back.

Summary: This is a beautiful home with stunning views of the Alberes. A short walk into town where there are a handful of restaurants and a short drive ro the supermarket. Michel and Marianne live close by and were super helpful. The property is immaculately clean, with a great patio area and pool. The only thing to note is two toilets for eight guests - the en suites are shower and sink only. There are extra charges for end of stay clean and towel provision which are not included in the base price. We'd come back again - a great place for a family break or a group of adults. Merci beaucoup Michel et Marianne.

Summary: We came back after last year. For good reasons: the villa is fully equipped, the pool delightful and the garden is a dream.

Summary: Beautiful villa with huge garden and optimal privacy. Very nice pool. Sorede and Laroque are nice villages, with restaurants in walking distance. Several nice day trips can be made; we walked in the Pyreneés and climbed the Pic Neulos. Hosts were very nice and helpful.

Summary: Lovely property and so quiet in the foothills of the Pyrenees yet only 5 mins from Carrefour and 20 min to Argeles or Perpignan. Supermarket shopping is so so expensive here but wouldn’t put us off coming again. Marianne is very welcoming.

Summary: On the edge of a small typical village with a good selection of bars and restaurants this villa offers everything you would expect in terms of equipment, comfort and relaxation. Set in its own sizeable plot, it is very peaceful and quiet despite being next door to a campsite. The pool is lovely - although a little fresh in mid September when we visited - and provides a lovely area to relax in and take in the rays. locally there is a large Carrefore supermarket within a couple of miles and within walking distance a baker, butchers and small local grocery shop for anything last minute of those essential croisants in the morning. The hosts, Marianne and Michel were extremely welcoming and gave us a thorough tour of the property and came to see us on our way. We had little need to call on them further as everything was so perfect.

Summary: Very clean and spacious. All mod cons. Each room with own bathroom which is very convenient, each (but one) with direct access to terrace and pool. Huge area around home provides you with space for play and fun, but also gives you a breath. A million dollar view from the terrace – having meals or reading a book here was my favourite time. Neighboring camping not visible, can be heard occasionally but not disturbing. Owners are living across the road, they are very nice and helpful. Easy driving to the beach, around 10 km; Racou (next to Collioure) is recommended; others are in Saint Cyprien, Argeles-sur-Mer, and Collioure. Water in pool and sea can be still a bit chilly end of June. Laroque is charming, small and peaceful town. Number of places to visit in the nearest vicinity as well as within reasonable driving, we recommend: Le Petit Jaune train (section to Fort Louise), Château de Peyrepertuse, Figueres and Salvador Dali museum, Aqualand. We stayed here for two first weeks of July 2013; and were very happy. Recommended for families with kids. Polish family 2+3.
