Positive: Location is on UEA campus, as a bespoke "hotel" similar to a hall of residence. I had room 1 which is about double the size of other rooms, otherwise same style. Lots good: bright and clean room, comfy bed, bathroom is clearly pre-built unit. Not unlike a premier inn room, and I quite like those. Some corridor noise from heavy doors closing, but generally quiet at night even though at full occupancy. Free parking with stay in massive campus carpark about 5 mins walk away. Lovely view of green space.

Negative: I asked at reception for room to NOT be serviced during my stay. This was ignored and room was serviced. Really hate all my stuff being moved around just as I've got things where they are comfortable for me. Window was really scratched up, like someone taken a brillo pad to perspex. Somewhat spoilt the effect of the view. Other small annoyances suggesting desnagging hadn't been completed (e.g. light switches were for opposite side of the room they were on). And some annoying housekeeping (duvet tucked in to mean you have to pull it all out to sleep, bin liner put in such a way to reduce bin capacity to 1/4). But really just small things.

Positive: Great location for accessing the university as its right on campus. The bed was really comfortable - I had a great sleep! Staff are lovely and super helpful. I’ll definitely stay again if visiting the uni.

Negative: Not a criticism at all, but the rooms are (very nice) en-suite halls of residence rooms, rather than stereotypical hotel rooms.

Positive: We didn't use the facilities for breakfast, but the location for watching a band was fantastic, there is a shop close by and the student bar, plus cafes, all in all very good and will stay again.

Positive: Location for Uni interview was perfect. Receptionist at check in was very helpful.

Negative: Alarm going off from 10pm to around 11.45om. Tried contacting security as no one on premises, left two voice messages but no idea if anyone got them. Also had to park in 'overflow' car park as main car park was full. Hope i don't get a ticket - left details at reception but no one coukd reassure me that we definitely would not get a ticket. Lastly - no shower curtain so couldn't take a shower.

Summary: Few issues.

Positive: I liked that it was on campus. Very convenient for my needs

Negative: I really think that you should place the coffee machine in an area that guests can access before 8am when reception opens or allow our cards to give us access to that area. I was extremely upset at 7am to wake up and I can’t get to the coffee machine. Also why don’t you have kettles in the room? First hotel I ever stayed in that doesn’t have a kettle. Even if you inform guests to bring their own coffee but Atleast have a a kettle and cups. It was ridiculous that I couldn’t have a cup of coffee in the morning.
