Summary: Stayed here the night before a hospital visit at a Birmingham hospital. The hotel is sad, rundown, bad service, you have to go & find a member of staff to serve you at the bar as we waited 15 mins & nobody came, the hotel receptionist came to serve us after we found her, she seemed to be doing every job in the hotel, she was lovely but stretched to here limiters. The rooms dated & sad as is the rest of the hotel. It’s a wedding venu & I would hate to get married there

Summary: The hotel was very tired, understaffed, drink in the bar VERY overpriced if you could find some to serve you & the beds were VERY uncomfortable

Summary: We liked the rural location for the quiet, but it was only a few mins from the M42 so convenient for driving around Midlands. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Half Board Dining was very nice for breakfast and evening meal, with a good food selection. We didn't like the stairway to rooms 20-25 as this was quite steep and the stairs narrow; not good if you have mobility issues or if you have large suitcases. Courtyard with steps a bit tricky and uneven entrance to restaurant could be a trip hazard. We would go again, but with ground floor accommodation.

Summary: Run down and tired, sink dripped all night, tv didn't work had to go top reception for batteries for remote still didn;t work. ROOM 11 WAS FREEZING, despite radiator being on, probably due to single pain glass. Give it a miss unless you have to go there.
