Positive: Pauline was a wonderful host. Such a lovely lady with a wealth of knowledge on the area. With Pauline's help we managed to achieve and locate all that we needed to and more. Look forward to returning again.
Negative: All was perfect there was nothing to dislike.

Positive: Location was well placed; close to the M1 and Sprucefield. Lovely bathroom. Beds were comfortable and it was clean. Having a tumble drier was useful & unexpected in that many holiday cottages don't provide this. Plenty of parking and the host was very encouraging of us to use the grounds for walks. Nice big fridge and a slim dishwasher.
Negative: Overall the place wasn't particularly comfortable because it was smaller than we expected, despite being advertised as spacious. The living room was narrow therefore the TV was placed high up on the wall and it felt a little cramped, even with two small children, not 4 adults. The heating did not come on automatically on the first evening so we had to ask for it to be turned on the next day. We used an electric heater which was in front of the open fire, but it clearly hadn't been used in some time, so gave off a strong smell of burning dust. When the oil-fired central heating was turned on the following day the house was much warmer, but the smell of oil permeated from the utility room through the house, gradually building up to the point where two of us had headaches & we had to go to sleep with windows open in order to aid ventilation (we did directly report this to the owner after our stay that the boiler needs servicing / looked at as a matter of urgency). The wi-fi did not work, although we did not report this to the owner as we coped with our mobile 4G data (we could connect to the router, but then the router reported 'no internet connection' - internet functions on the tv did not work either). One would have hoped not to have had these issues given the price we paid.
Summary: Great location but slightly cramped living room & heating and wi-fi both need fixing

Positive: Location was perfect. Approximately 15 mins from Belfast. The cottage is located in farmland- so there are cows, sheep, and other fields surrounding the property. The host was very attentive and was available to assist as needed.
Summary: Great relaxing visit outside of Belfast.

Positive: It is out in the countryside and is beautiful. The cottage itself was really well appointed. We were able to cook our Christmas dinner and celebrate with our family.
Negative: Our family was in Stormont and it was a bit far to always drive in.
Summary: We had an amazing stay and Pauline is fabulous!

Positive: The property was fine, the majority of things were there that you would need.
Negative: The second bedroom was freezing, we couldn’t use it at all and all have to sleep in one room. The heating was controlled and the cottage was freezing when it went off. We rang asking could someone explain how to change the settings as we had a toddler with us and she said that she would come show us in the evening. She never came and I rang her four times that evening no answer, my friend rang left a voicemail. We also rang another number but again no answer. Nobody called us back at all.
Summary: It was would have been good if the cottage was warm
