Positive: Great lay out of the villa , pool always clean and beers stocked in the fridge for sale. Staff were attentive and very helpful and responsive. Great for big groups

Negative: Power was off the first night and wifi was also off for the whole stay . But that was out of the villa owners control.

Summary: Awesome villa great pool and beers already in the fridge. 10/10

Positive: Positive side, the location is excellent—within walking distance to Padang Padang Beach, as well as nearby shops and restaurants. Beach towels were provided, which was a nice touch. The villa itself is spacious and well-suited for larger groups, with six rooms and entertainment options like table games and a snooker table. Overall, a good option for groups, but some improvements in maintenance and upkeep would make the stay much more enjoyable.

Negative: On the downside, we experienced some maintenance problems. The shower drainage in the upstairs master room was blocked, which caused water to leak into the kitchen downstairs for the first two days. This was eventually fixed by the owner and staff. One of the sinks was also blocked. Housekeeping could be improved, as bathroom towels were not changed during our stay and became unpleasant by the end. The swimming pool is quite small in reality compared to how it appears in photos. Additionally, the upstairs rooms have large gaps near the windows, which allowed insects and small animals to enter at night, making it feel a bit uncomfortable.

Summary: The experience had both positive and few issues.

Positive: Property was spacious and well appointed with the true Balinese feel. Lots of Bali & Uluwatu is turning into a sterile western paradise, Bukit Surf Villa is tucked away and has a classic aesthetic but with modern comforts. Great comms with Made, it was easy. Got to drop our bags early and collect them late - very accomodating. If we had a big group coming to Bali again we'd definitely stay here!

Positive: The villa itself is very beautiful and layer out very well.

Negative: Unfortunately there was a leak in the roof in one of the main detached villas next to the pool and there were puddles in the floor when we woke up. The electricity went off and took a day to come back on. The host, Made, was great however we asked to speak to the owner as we were disappointed about being unable to use the villa and he never rocked up. Unfortunately we believe this was ultimately the owners responsibility as we essentially unable to use one entire villa. The owner did not want to take responsibility. We will be making a formal complaint through booking.com as we would like a partial refund.
