Positive: A slice of paradise in the best location on the island! We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful villa. Huge thanks to Reiko, Agnes, and their amazing team—they were incredibly helpful and made our stay truly memorable. The location is unbeatable—right on the most stunning private beach in Bunaken. It’s peaceful, serene, and perfect for relaxing and recharging. You really feel like you’ve found your own little corner of paradise. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and opened up to an incredible sea view. One of the biggest highlights was the food—every meal was delicious, thoughtfully planned and cooked with love by Chef Agnes & her team. You can truly taste the care they puts into every dish. We joined snorkeling and dolphin-watching trips arranged by the villa and were lucky to see an abundance of marine life. We also rented a bike to explore the island, which was a fun and easy way to take in the scenery. After checking out other beaches, we can confidently say that the one right in front of Cha Cha is the best. By comparison, Liang Beach was unfortunately quite dirty, with lots of trash and boat traffic—not ideal for swimming. As for drawbacks, there really weren’t any major issues. The only small thing was that the air conditioner couldn’t be used at night due to power limitations—but opening the windows and using the fan worked just fine. It’s all part of the charm, really—this villa is tucked away in a quiet, remote part of the island, and we absolutely loved that. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to unwind and fully immerse themselves in the natural beauty of Bunaken.

Positive: If you are looking for a quiet boutique resort, with no more than a dozen of guests in a remote tropical location, perfect for snorkeling and diving, it is hard to find a better place anywhere. A well preserved corals with a great variety of fish and a nearby area called “turtle city” where you can be sure to swim with turtles, create unforgettable underwater scenery. A couple of comfortable villas, all with a sea view, built on a secluded jungle spot by Raf, an Irish-Italian, and Reiko, his Japanese wife, has a relaxed atmosphere and friendly local staff, expertly managed by Agnes. The food is delicious, with plenty of fresh fruits and a wide variety of delicious meals. Looking forward to returning there with pleasure next year!

Positive: Reiko, the owner of Cha Cha has really made her dream come true in building and developing a beautiful resort plus having a great staff team Agnes, in charge of management and cooking has definitely reached a level beyond my expectation: all home made indonesian and international cuisine made from scratch. The quality and taste of her food could definitely win her a Michelin Star in my opinion. All of the staff are so friendly and helpful. Always with a smile to greet and help you everyday! Everybody ( including Luna their dog) make you feel that you are a part of the Cha Cha family. The conversations during meal times with Reiko, Agnes and the other guests are very amusing. The tastefully furnished and comfortable villa has a great view.
Negative: Information that I would like to share with future guests: The resort is built on a slope, depending on the location of the villa not really suitable for guests with walking disabilities. Guests who are not used to the climate should be aware, that the air conditioning does not operate 24/7 ( only works when the resort generator is on) There is a fan but if there is no electrical power, which can happen anywhere and anytime in Indonesia , it will also not help you with the intense heat and high humidity in Bunaken. Snorkelling is great directly off the beach. Watershoes with rubber soles are required to get to the reef during low tide. Turtles, Lionfish, Rays, Clownfishes among other tropical fishes can be seen. Make sure you make excursion to Lekuan I-III in Bunaken as well as to Siladen( Corals are healthier and regenerating...we also encountered some Black Tip Reefsharks in shallow water near Kuda Laut Resort when we were snorkelling around the island) Depending on the weather and currents you may unfortunately encounter rubbish (mostly plastic) in the water. Enviromental protection is unfortunately not a big issue in Indonesia. Don't expect luxury in the villas ( no fridge, no watter kettles only thermos flask ) but they are very nicely furnished and decorated , very clean and have magnificent views. Thanks to all in Cha Cha! The resort definitely deserves a  recommendation from us.
Summary: Relaxing resort with great view and excellent food!

Positive: I liked that everything was close to the main area. But mainly the access to the water was very accessible for everyone at any time. Out of everything though, the food that was served, every single meal was very very delicious and there is a great variety throughout the stay. I give many thanks and super impressed by Ibu Agnes's cooking as all meals were tasty. Food is #1
Summary: I would for sure come back again. Amazing few days

Positive: The best location. The sea is beautiful and the starry sky is amazing at night. There is no noise and it is perfect for relaxing. It is also nice to be able to see the horizon from the room. Food is also very nice, I had dolphin tour and could see a lot. I strongly recommend this villa.
Negative: Nothing. The only thing I can say is that the air conditioner can't be used at night due to power issues. Using a fan and opening the window can solve the problem. This villa is located in a remote area, so we can enjoy it.
Summary: Amazing

Positive: Reiko, Agnes and staff were welcoming and very friendly! They made me feel like I was at home. Their pleasant personalities, great food and stories made my stay absolutely worth it. Snorkelling at the beach itself was wonderful and I was able to see sea turtles, stingrays and a wide variety of beautiful fishes. The guide who brought me snorkelling had great knowledge about the marine life and I was well taken care of. The view from the room was amazing and I was also able to see fireflies at night. This is definitely the place to go if you want to be surrounded by nature, amazing people, excellent food and serenity. Not to forget the beautiful dogs that live in the resort :) Definitely coming back!
Negative: Nothing
