The Drents-Friese Woud nature reserve is home to the largest shifting sands area in the Netherlands with beautiful cycle paths. The Vlinderparadijs (butterfly paradise) and a golf course can be found in the village of Havelte, situated further down. Admire the Hunebedden in Diever, known for the 'Shakespeare' performances, or make a trip to the Zoo in Emmen.

Summary: Zeer compleet huisje. Inrichting is met aandacht gedaan en aan alles is gedacht. De tuin is prachtig aangelegd met een mooie vijver in het midden. Boven de vijver is er een prieel met een buitenhaard. Overal in de tuin zijn er zitjes en een grote verscheidenheid aan vogels en andere diertjes. Zo is er een eekhoorn, die regelmatig even komt buurten.
