Summary: The view and the pool were the highlights. However, it was a great property and stay all around! Unrelated to the actual property, but be mindful of having a 4WD car in Atenas and Costa Rica in general. It will make your life easier.

Summary: Hillside property with beautiful grounds, swimming pool and views of mountains, valleys, and the quaint town of Atenas. Our bungalow was quite nice and comfortable. Our host, Alejandro is wonderful, informative and speaks many different languages. Breakfast is not included but there are many dining options in town.

Summary: We had one of our best stays in Costa Rica at Sanlaz. The little bungalows were amazing, well equipped, super clean and comfortable beds. The views to the mountain were stunning, service was great. Can't say enough good things about this place. Will visit again.
