Summary: My husband and I took our six kids (ages 4-13). Our stay was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and much needed!!! We had an amazing time and our host, Scarlett, was the absolutely sweetest! I read from a few other reviews that the steep steps were a “con”, but we had no trouble going up and down them, to and from the river. But then again my family and I, we are pretty active and outdoorsy people. The cons we did have was that we did not take our tubes! And we didn’t take our snorkeling gear! I can’t believe we forgot them! We did take our goggles, life jackets, and 4 floaties! We still had an AMAZING time!!! We had a blast swimming and looking at the fishies swim right under us! The bunkhouse had basically everything we needed! It was so cozy!! Definitely recommend if you need some time away from your busy life to just enjoy the outdoors and unwind with your family! Although, I will say… If you have a large family like mine, take your large pots and pans! I’m so glad we did take ours after all. Or perhaps we are just out of the norm and my kids sure can eat lol… So if you know that you and your family consume more products and food (for the pots and pans) than the norm, take extras lol. Otherwise, everything was fully furnished!! We didn’t take blankets or pillows and there was more than enough for us! And the beds were sooo comfy too!!! Anyways, I could go on and on! But YES!!! WE DEFINITELY RECOMMEND YOU STAY!!! Have a blessed stay in Jesus name! ❤️❤️❤️

Summary: Let me start off by saying this property is beautiful! Scarlett is a dream to work with and I enjoyed meeting her and communicating with her. We had a good time but I think the weather affected our stay a bit. It rained pretty much the whole time we were there. Pros: the property is beautiful! There are lots of things to do outside. My kids had fun playing catch, fishing and playing corn hole. The river is literally in the backyard. If it had been sunny, we definitely would’ve gotten in. Cons: There’s only one bathroom. I knew this going in but figured it would be fine. 😂 With two teen boys, an 8 yr old girl and two adults, one toilet isn’t enough. The steps down to the river are STEEP! It was fine for us but for little kids and older adults, maybe not. The only other con was that there is no tv which is usually fine with us but with the weather being the way it was, it was hard to get everyone together. We did play UNO which is a family favorite of ours, but that can only be played for so long. They do have a projector but none of our streaming services would work with it. We’d have to download a movie to my laptop maybe. We ultimately enjoyed our stay. I’ll definitely consider it in the future, even if I go alone! 😅

Summary: It was super easy to locate the property. The Host was AMAZING to say the least. The Bunkhouse was a cute, rustic place with a cozy family feel. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. There were also games for the family and the kids loved the baseball gloves and corn hole. There was lots of exploring done and trees to climb. The river was perfect! Kids had fun fishing from the bank and then the water was perfect depth to swim. Overall we had a great time at the property with many things near by to do, we did not have to drive far at all to have more fun. Will for sure book here again!!

Summary: We had a great time during our stay. The host was very kind and helpful. The bunkhouse was great and very spacious for me and my family. The house had everything we needed and the kitchen had everything needed to cook with during our 3 night stay. The water access was great, we had the entire area of the river to ourselves to swim, kayak, float, and fish. I look forward to booking another stay in the near future.

Summary: Beautiful private property with direct river access. River floats, kayak, and small boat with oars available for use included. This part of the river is deeper than public access, none of us were able to touch the ground. Lovely guest home with several rooms and full kitchen is stocked with everything you need if you plan on cooking like we did. Owner Scarlett was amazing and we would definitely stay here again.

Summary: The Bunkhouse was wonderful, they had everything you could need and more. It was very quiet and peaceful. The perfect place to get away from all your worries. Our hosts, Scarlette and Max were amazing! And so accommodating, I have never had such good hosts before. If you need to get away, this is the place to stay!! Summary: Neat & clean. LOTS of kitchen supplies, and outdoor grill. Kids had fun painting rocks, playing indoor & outdoor games, and playing in the water on tubes - all supplied by our hostess. Huge cookhouse with large table where we enjoyed playing card games in the evenings. Washer & dryer available for use in the utility room. I would not recommend it for families with small children as the water was deep and would be difficult for them to access. Also, we were told after we got there that the top bunks were not to be used. Overall we had a great time.
