El Ranchito provides guests the rare opportunity to have a “vacation from vacation” after a long day on the river. With the gorgeous private pool and cozy outdoor entertainment area, friends and family can spend time together recapping their floating adventures while preparing dinner on the barbecue pit, watching TV outside and capping off the night with s'mores around the fire pit. Situated near Concan's world-renowned golf course and the House Pasture restaurant and live concert venue, the location truly offers something for everyone. Separate guest quarters allow privacy and the bedrooms and common areas boast beautiful rustic luxury décor.
Management provides: pillows, comforters, mattress pads, and all other bed linens (see below), starter kit of 2 trash bags, one roll of paper towels in the kitchen, 1 roll of toilet paper for each bathroom, 3 pods for dishwasher, liquid dish soap, and shrink-wrapped hand soap for each bathroom
***Effective 1/1/24, Frio Premier/Frio Select Rental Homes will not be providing towels to guests, including bath towels, wash cloths, hand towels for the kitchen and restroom, and bath mats. Guests will be responsible for bringing these items. FPRH/FSRH is proud to be able to continue to provide bed sheets, including flat sheets, fitted sheets, and pillowcases for all beds. As always, other bedding including blankets, pillows and mattress protectors will continue to be provided. Linen fees have been adjusted accordingly to only reflect sheet rental and prices have been set based on house size and number of beds in the home.
***A booking deposit and a refundable security deposit (damage deposit) are charged upon creating a reservation. If you reserve via phone or the Frio Premier/Frio Select Rental Homes website, please note that your credit card will automatically be charged the first night's rent for the booking deposit and $350 for the refundable security deposit at 12:00 p.m. central time on the day of booking (if booking after 12:00 p.m. central time it will be charged the day after). If you reserve via VRBO/HomeAway or another channel partner, your credit card will automatically be charged a service fee that is paid to that channel partner, 33% of the total rental fee plus tax as your booking deposit paid to Frio Premier/Frio Select Rental Homes, and the $350 refundable security deposit. You will receive a receipt via email for your booking deposit and security deposit as well as a confirmation number. EFFECTIVE 8-27-2020, THE REMAINING RESERVATION BALANCE IS DUE 30 DAYS PRIOR TO CHECK-IN (MEANING, IF YOU RESERVE ONLINE FOR CHECK-IN DATES INSIDE OF 30 DAYS YOUR CREDIT CARD WILL BE CHARGED THE COMPLETE BALANCE!) PLEASE GENERATE A QUOTE TO SEE ALL OTHER FEE DESCRIPTIONS/AMOUNTS.

Reviewer Comments: We have rented many homes and vacation spots in the Garner area, including staying at the state park itself, and this stay at the El Ranchito home was by far one of our best! The home was gorgeous and so comfortable, meeting all of our needs, but the outdoor pool and cabana area were the most fun. The privacy each guest had with their own entrance to their own room along with it’s own private bath was very accommodating as well. We really enjoyed our stay and have plans on hopefully renting this home again.

Summary: This was our first trip to the Frio. Even though the river was a disappointment the house made the vacation. The property kept the kids entertained with the pool, volleyball court and basketball court. Great place to stay. Highly recommend.

Summary: Good common space, two of the rooms small, but usable. Nice location, and good rec spaces. Pillows are flat, but bed are comfortable. Air conditioning works great. Plenty of refrigerators for your stuff, and lots of parking space. Kids loved the pool and the playground. Close to the river and shops.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a wonderful house and location! Perfect for a family reunion - All the bedrooms have private entrances onto the pool area. There was a private: pool, basketball court, beach volleyball, and playground. (So the littles even have a place to dig around in the sand). This setup is so perfect for a large gathering. The house layout is so fantastic that everyone decided when we left that we'd all like to try to create that type of space at our houses. It was perfect. The nature views (and night sky watching) was amazing. & it's so peaceful - if you listen, all you hear is nature. No cars, no planes, no people, just nature. It's heavenly. When we arrived we had a maintenance issue & they were very quick about resolving it. We golfed twice on the course that surrounds the houses - It was a beautiful course (fast greens), but most importantly, it was a most pleasant golfing experience. The staff at the clubhouse were SO nice, got us drinks, accommodated our specific needs & the course was not crowded which made it extra enjoyable to play. It is a truly beautiful course! Overall, I also liked that it was a private gated neighborhood. Tips for those who book: Bring a 12 pack of bar soaps (so you can have one at every shower and every sink). Also: Although the sink & fridge water is treated and technically drinkable, you will prefer bottled water so bring gallon jugs of bottled water. This was a fantastic trip - the PERFECT place for a family reunion & we will definitely be booking again! The layout and amenities made it such an easy way for everyone to have a great time. The placement of everything is perfect. While the dads cooked and watched football on the grill and outdoor kitchen, the moms and kids played in the pool. The playground next to the house was another place for the kids to run around and expel energy. The inside has everything you need to prepare a great breakfast. There’s a basketball court and a sand volleyball court that the adults enjoyed. We look forward to staying here again. Everyone loved it.

Summary: For a large family or group, the layout of the house is perfect with large common areas surrounded by individual bedrooms. Having garage storage made storing coolers and totes much easier. 3 refrigerators were a huge plus - our only complaint was no ice machine. All of the appliances, technology, and TVs were great - especially the TV at the bar outside by the pool. Playground and volleyball court were great for the kids and there was plenty of driveway parking for our vehicles - all covered by cameras. This house worked out perfect for our large family to stay for a week.
