Positive: That it was on one level and had a restaurant.

Negative: There was no table to play cards on, just the bench along the wall facing the mirror; and only one armchair. The restaurant doesn’t open on Public Holidays ☹️

Positive: The restaurant on site was excellent and breakfast was included. The staff were very friendly.

Negative: There seemed to be an awful smell perhaps coming through the bathroom drains. Also, we like to play cards and there was only a bench against the wall which wasn’t suitable.

Summary: The food, service and affordability was tremendous and we would stay there again. 👍

Positive: The room was pleasant and the facility was not crowded - only about 6 occupants for 60 rooms!

Negative: I wonder why I paid so much above the average rate for this property when it seems to me to be just a very ordinary room! I cannot see where the premium value lies!! The receptionist was not at the premises at all during my stay (only phone contact) and the "1st class" restaurant was firmly closed (but selling goods in the frig and thus taking up space for our use!). For a property with so much space for parking (it was huge!), there was no cover for cars (which is always a concern with Queensland's stormy weather); the lighting in the room was dull (basically some fancy lights over the mirror on one wall and bed-side lamps); the air con is a very old unit in need of upgrading;
