Summary: Check in was terrible. Their check out time of 12 noon is not beneficial to getting the rooms ready for a 3PM check in. I think they were under staffed and most of the rooms were ready by 3:45 to 4:00. This hotel caters to cruise travelers so it have the late check out as they don’t have to be at the port until 1PM. Unfortunately the passengers who arrive have to be off the ship by 9AM. Most headed to the hotel and stored their luggage in a storage room which was overflowing. We were all given towels to use the pools and other facilities until our rooms were ready. The reception staff that replaced the morning shift were fantastic in helping everyone out. Rooms were very nice but needs to be refreshed. Pool areas were great and what a view. Restaurant was ok and the service was good. Lots of waves at the beach area and it was closed off for safety. The are a few restaurants and stores within walking distance along with the Fisk Market. I actually would stay there for a night or two again.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at the Butterfly and would return. It was very fast as we were only there for 6 hours as our flight arrived super early into Barbados. I called earlier to let them know that we would be checking in the following morning and they had everything ready for us at check in. Room was comfortable. A bit dated but clean and decently sized space.
