Summary: The house was very comfortable and clean! The beds were very comfortable too! We loved the location... rural but close to a lot of activities. The house is decorated so Cute! We will definitely be back.

Summary: This was our 2nd time renting this house but will not be the last. We have a teenager that enjoyed fishing in the river. We love the proximity to many hiking trails, did the Raven Cliff Falls, Dismal trail loop and enjoyed it. Had a nice, socially distanced visit with some friends around the firepit. Ate all the eggs and really enjoyed being in such a comfortable home away from home. Thanks for adding the recycling bin. Will be in touch for our next opportunity to head this way. Thank you!

Summary: This place is Soooo inviting, super clean, and super cozy. We loved the thoughtful surprise of the basket of farm fresh eggs in the fridge-thank you! The house is centrally located to every place that we wanted to hike- waterfalls and MORE. Loved sitting on the screened porch and hearing the river and the cows next door! Will definitely refer and hope to come back again! BIG thank you to the Mlay Family.

Summary: Wonderful little retreat, VERY clean, and super convenient to many state parks and waterfalls. Something to note: the parks required a reservation Fri-Sun, even for day hiking. I assume this is because of Covid.

Summary: Property was quiet and in a perfect location for hiking/boating on lake jocassee. The house was clean and well equipped on a beautiful peace of property, there was plenty of room for a boat and multiple cars. We will definitely be coming back

Summary: Everything and more! Beautiful idyllic property with flora, fauna, and COWS! Our short stay was delightful. The house was out of an interior design magazine for the farmhouse look! Loved the extras like hand sanitizer, plenty of plush towels, every cooking utensil that a family of four could possibly need. Even fresh eggs from the farm were found in an adorable basket in the refrigerator! I personally loved the child's table and chairs that accommodated my granddaughter and all her toys and art supplies. Such a thoughtful touch to welcome the small fry. The only downside for me was that I could not see the river. I am elderly with bad knees and the walk was too hard. However, that being said, I certainly enjoyed the soothing sound from the wonderful screened in porch. All and all, our stay was spectacular even though it was overcast. We will definitely return for future visits.
