By The Shore cottage is located along the shore that overlooks Eglington Cove, Abel's Cape and a local beach known as the Back Beach. The cottage offers a fully stocked kitchen and features an open concept to the dining area and Livingroom. In the Livingroom there is an electric fireplace and a smart TV. There is a large picture window that provides a beautiful view while sitting in the living room. There is also a 450sq foot screened in porch located off of the dining room that includes large dining table that converts to a ping pong table. The front of the cottage has a covered porch facing Eglington Cove that has access from the master bedroom and dining area.
The cottage offers three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom offers a king sized bed and an ensuite bathroom. You can continue to enjoy the beautiful view from the sliding patio doors that lead out to the covered patio. The second and third bedrooms offer queen beds, closets and dressers. The main bathroom consists of a bath/shower combination and linen closet. Laundry facilities are located on site and all linens are provided.
Enjoy the screened in patio that includes a pingpong table that converts into a dining table and a conversation area to enjoy the warm PEI summer nights. You will also find a variety of lawn games in the screened in patio. There is also an outdoor shower located on site for washing away the salt and sand after a long day at one of the many local beaches. There is also deeded water access from the cottage. You can enjoy a favorite local Beach known as the "Back Beach" within a 5 minute drive.
By the Shore cottage offers close proximity to the Town of Souris and a short drive to the town of Montague. There are many attractions located closed by including, The Inn at Bay Fortune (4km),World Class beaches such as Basin Head Beach (30km), Sally's Beach Provincial Park (12km) and Greenwich National Park (35km). For the golf lover there is the world class Brudenell Golf Course(38km) and Crowbush Cove Golf Course (44km) along with many other local attractions, restaurants and shops waiting for you to discover all within a short drive. Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay at the property. The cottage was very clean, spacious, airy and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. The view was lovely and we enjoyed watching the sea birds, especially the blue herons. There were lots of good places to eat close by as well as fresh fish available in Souris. We would definitely return to this property.

Summary: We had a fantastic stay at Katrina's property! It's quite secluded and very quiet but less than 15 minutes to grocery shopping, a pharmacy, liquor store and restaurants. It's also less than a half hour to Basin Head Beach which we spent 2 different days at. Gorgeous!!! The beds are comfortable, linen closets stocked with extras and the kitchen has has everything you would need to prepare meals for a large group. The screened in porch came in very handy when the bugs were bad and during some rainy weather. The TV options also came in handy for the rainy weather and cranky kids! We would definitely recommend this rental to anyone looking to be close to Souris or just wanting something with a great view.
