Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Personal greeting and experience with the local family. Very authentic experience. Letiticia will help you with anything: personal massages (which we recommend), quetzal tours, ... It isn't an extremely luxurious stay, but still everything you need, and given the price, that is to be expected. The cabana is extremely big, and if you want, you can cook yourself. If you want to go local, go for this unique experience! We haven't found a place like this in costa rica

Negative: You can eat with the family. The prices of breakfast and dinner were at the higher side (+-$10 per meal pp). However, we found out this is normal in entire Costa Rica. The low price of the stay, and the local experience made surely up for this point.

Positive: Beautiful property with a view. The town is lovely too, and the host is very helpful and responsive. The only issue in the cabin is not a lot of privacy: sound travels. For a group of 3-4, it was an ideal place to get together for a writing retreat and work. We would love to come back. The cabin has all the basics for cooking, good wifi, and is close to a small cafeteria (walking) and to the town.
