Positive: Beautiful cabaña, handmade by the host with traditional family method from material from the rainforest. Beautiful and comfortable! The whole place is just amazing. Butterflies crossing all day. River for swimming very close by. Raoul is the sweetest host, very kind and caring - also a good cook! He will take you to wonderful tours with incredible knowledge of the rainforest! 10/10 recommendation if you want to escape hectic life and just calm down in the nature. Also the place is perfectly good reachable with public transport which is fascinating because you are in the middle of the jungle!

Negative: bring a lot of mosquito spray ;)

Positive: Cabana looked really nice, it was spacious and clean. It had everything what it should have. The best thing about stay was Raul - the owner of Cabana, our cook and our guide. He was very friendly and helpful. The food he prepared for us was very delicious! I can recommend this stay to anyone, who would like to experience true Amazon experience with limited budget.

Negative: None. Everything exceeded our expectations. We were happy with our stay.

Positive: Beautiful property on a river Currently one cabin - it’s your own jungle Attentive host Close to a number of private reserves that you can visit without a guide Don’t be put off by getting here, there are fairly regular buses that go from TENA to CAMPO COCHA.

Negative: it’s a LOOOONG way to a shop - bring everything t with you

Positive: Loved my stay at Cabañas Awana! Raul is a really kind and easy going host and was happy to share his culture and community with me. The cabana is simple, relaxing and surrounded by nature. It’s in a great location near walking trails, the community’s river, and a small store with water and some snacks. As a female traveling solo, I felt completely safe and was happy that the host can speak English for any questions I had about the area. I highly recommend staying here and enjoying the nature experiencing the community and culture!
