Unique property built entirely from recycled materials which adds charm to this cabin set on a small rural property.
Private location and both dog and horse compatible.
Close to pristine beaches and perfect location for hiking, kayaking, parachuting or just kick back and relax.
Come and enjoy the peace and solitude offered at this beautiful part of the south coast.
Our place has a large enclosed dog yard and 3 acres to rest your horse. Go for walks from here or choose any number of places to roam in this idyllic surrounding.
Quiet , private location with a laid back ambience and located close to amenities.
This includes selection of restaurants, golf course,shopping and markets (featuring local produce).
Also a popular area for skydiving/ parachuting.
The cabin has been created by using recycled materials, it has been a passion of the host to show off this as an alternative building option.
Note:- all network reception easily available.
Note:-this cabin has a few steps and uneven ground which may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility ( review photos)
Please note that the cabin has a canister style toilet , (as used in caravans)it does not use chemicals and is replaced every second day.

We feel it is important to let you know what we are doing to provide a safe place for you to stay in these most unusual times.
The accommodation is a stand alone cabin set on 5acres in the rural countryside near the small town of Moruya. We believe this is a safe area to explore in peace and quiet.
In many ways the location is quite isolated, being on a dead end road there is little traffic.
The cabin only accommodates couples. We also cater for dogs and horses.
Denise and I spend a minimum of 2 hours to clean between clients and we pride ourselves on being very thorough.
This includes a full linen replacement. Check and rewash dishes and kitchen , all towels and dishcloths replaced with fresh ones. All door handles and surfaces disinfected.
We have confidence in what we offer and encourage you to come and enjoy and relax in these surroundings.
Naturally we understand there are many factors that will influence your decision to come and stay however we also ask that if you feel you cannot make it for any reason your earliest advice would be appreciated.

The cabin, built from recycled materials, carries a quiet charm—each piece with a past, now part of something whole. The dog roamed freely in the enclosed yard, the horses wandered the paddock, and the beaches weren’t far, but it was easy to stay put.The best part? The view. It stretches down through the valley, all the way to the horizon, a peaceful expanse that pulls you in and recentres you. The space is immaculate, cared for in a way that makes you feel at home the moment you arrive.I left knowing I’d come back. Some places stay with you.

Summary: Beautiful location, near to Moruya town and beach. Lovely accommodation. Attentive host, who ensured that I was happy and carried out little extras like making up the fire pit.Very safe for my dog, who could explore the whole property.

Summary: A beautiful restful spot. Situated amongst beautiful gums, lying in bed you almost felt like you were in a tree house. Couldn’t have asked for more from our friendly hosts. Totally enjoyed.

Summary: A very cool property, Paul has built this cabin from recycled materials. There is a smaller enclosed yard, then the driveway yard, and a horse paddock. My partner and I enjoyed sitting on the verandah and the deck, watching the country life go by and watching the dogs play. Paul is an excellent host, maintaining clear communication, offering to reset the fireplace and firepit as needed. We are planning on coming back at some point.

Summary: Beautiful and peaceful. Loved waking up and going to bed with those big beautiful gumtrees! Comfy bed, and wood heater threw out a massive amount of heat. Miss my verandah spot already! Had a shower with a frog and shared the night with an owl. Thanks Paul and Denise for a fabulous stay! Dogs loved it too!

Summary: If you want a relaxing and peaceful stay, then Figtree Cabin is the place for you as you will feel like a million miles away from the rat race. It has all that you need for a comfortable stay and Paul is very helpful for things to do and visit in the Moruya region

Summary: I have been here with my dog many times and nothing disappoints. Paul, Denise, and Winnie are fantastic hosts and always go out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Paul, in particular went out of his way to assist with my car, show us 4 wheel driving spots and some great sightseeing spots that we hadn’t visited yet. We highly recommend you come along and stay at this beautiful cabin. You will not be disappointed. Thanks Paul, Denice and Winnie. We will be back.

Summary: A quiet, private, cozy cabin in a beautiful setting with magnificent fig tree and gum trees, included everything we needed. A wonderful place to relax and unwind. Our dog loved exploring, playing in the safe fenced areas and meeting Winnie.
