Cozy 2 bedroom home is located directly on the Kokosing river thought to translate from the Algonquin Indians and mean “River of the Little Owls.” The cabin is a short distance to Kenyon College, Apple Valley lake, Ohio Amish country and tons and tons of great parks, hiking trails, bike trails and hunting. Great fishing off of the banks in the back yard. Numerous different wildlife spotted including eagles, hawk, mink and deer. Kayaks and canoe provided for your use. Large deck to enjoy river view, outdoor shower and soaking tub (ready for use when weather cooperates). WiFi and internet based TV on 42" flat screen. Pets considered on a case by case basis.

Summary: Had a pretty amazing week here with the wife, kid, and dogs. Sunsets on the back porch from the hot tub were incredible. Fully enclosed back porch was very helpful with the dogs. Overall the place was very baby and dog friendly.

Summary: The property was as advertised. It was on a lazy river which was a wonderful backdrop for our hot tub sessions. The cabin was clean and well appointed. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return in warmer weather in order to take advantage of the kayaks.

Summary: A fun, simply laid out, fairly private, well kept, up to date place that would be easy to spend alot of time at. The closed in porch and backyard made it easy to keep tabs on our dog. The hot tub was wonderful, the big firepit on the porch got plenty of use and the nice section of river behind the property I can see being tons of fun when its warmer. Excited to come back sometime

Summary: We had an amazing stay, even though it raines for majority of our trio we made the best of it. We fished in the river and hubby caught 2 catfish. We went and visited the Amish country and local eataries very cool places
