Summary: Our daughter and her family are temporarily living with us including their 3 dogs, 2 cats (one a kitten), a turtle named Shelly and a fish named Blue. Needless to say, our house is constant noise & activity. We just recently passed our 43rd wedding anniversary and needed a getaway. This house was a blessing in so many ways. It was clean, nice and cool, had everything we needed, and we even met a new friend (yellow lab). My husband loved the antiques displayed and the beauty of the cabin and the way it was built. We loved the cabin so much, we wanted to extend our stay but could not due to it already being booked. Thx to our hosts for their hospitality. We will definitely go back.

Summary: The cabin was lovely and well stocked to meet our needs. We were a little put off by all the LED lights at night - especially right next to the bed. Not sure anything can be done about that, though. We live on a farm and enjoy darkness at night . Other than that we truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!!

Summary: A historically rustic cabin with modern amenities that make it very comfortable. Cozy but not cramped…well appointed to make it a safe, accessible and a very enjoyable venue. Conveniently located to the lake and town but, as the name implies, tucked remotely in the woods.
