Go fishing, watch and listen for loons, or relax in the afternoon sun in the sun room after a bike ride! Newer flooring throughout. Master bedroom with queen bed and attached bath. Additional bedrooms separately have a bunk bed and a queen bed. The cabin also has a Kinetico water system. Charcoal grill provided. Breezy Point and Downtown Nisswa both less than 10 miles away and access to the Paul Bunyan Trail in Merrifield is 3.5 miles away. Owners live in cabin next door.

Summary: My husband and two of his friends attended the motorcycle racing at BIR. This was the perfect location to relax and sit outside by the lake in the evenings. Leah is such a great host and is so accommodating! Everything is clean, neat, and very comfortable with great directions and suggestions of things to do in the area. The beds were very comfortable and the cabin is well stocked with all the necessities. We would definitely stay again!

Summary: We've stayed at Leah's place a couple of times...and plan to go back again in the future! Perfect place to relax and hang out. Lots of bedding and kitchen supplies. Large yard for games and a firepit + smore sticks for a late night treat. Leah is an excellent host - very responsive and accommodating. Great for families. You won't regret staying here!

Summary: First and foremost, Leah is a great host that is extremely thorough! During our booking and stay she was extremely responsive and helpful. Similar to other reviews I initially saw, the property is plenty spacious and has a huge yard on a nice (quieter) lake for all the activities you could imagine. There has been a clear effort to make this feel like your cabin away from home, and you can see that. The location is great as it is a close drive to many different surrounding towns (both large and small). Outside of that it is very well stocked for what you will need. Much of what we thought we needed was provided. Having been a cabin kid growing up, this more than exceeded my expectation. There is also an abundance of movies, games, books, provided (for both kids and adults), in addition to a detailed booklet to help you with options in the area. The only potential downfall I can even think of, are typical cabin things. Be conservative with the hot water (trying the soaker tub will take most) and there will be wildlife, birds, and bugs. If you enjoy bird watching, you won’t be disappointed here, it’s a pretty cool to watch. Will definitely stay again if traveling to Nisswa.
