Positive: Gorgeous and well-equipped shepherd”s hut in the most stunning location. We loved waking up to the views.every morning, you could never get bored of them. So much thought has gone into the details, with carefully selected vintage pieces and versatile equipment. The combination of a mini oven and portable induction hob is genius! Really appreciated the delicious shortbread, too.
Negative: Unfortunately the weather didn’t allow us to make the most of the outdoor d facilities, but we are not blaming the owner for that!
Summary: Stunning shepherds’s hut in outstanding location.

Positive: This cabin was a really stunning and peaceful find. Such a superb location met with stunning views and nothing but birdsong and the rustle of trees to enjoy. There's not much around the area but limited buses to and from Chepstow, and a shop with all the basics in the nearby village of Devauden, which meant we could get by. There's also some nice walks around the area, and the nearby woods were a delight. It's good to be a little prepared with food and drink before arrival. The hot tub was a really nice treat (along with a lovely birthday hamper they arranged for me)! The cabin was warm and cosy, the bed was really comfortable and we had all the necessities to cook basic meals. Takeaways from nearby were also an option we indulged in. I honestly can't recommend this place highly enough if you are after some time away from all the hustle and bustle! Also remember to bring a little cash to get some eggs from nearby!
Negative: No taxis would come to us without charging a lot of money but we were more than happy staying in the cabin anyway. And be aware that there's a limited bus service. Absolutely cannot fault the hosts for this.
Summary: Stunning, peaceful, and quaint.. A perfect getaway into nature!

Positive: The location was stunning. Waking up in the morning to see the views of the hills was incredible! The shepherds hut was super clean, and had everything we needed! The appliances provided made sure we were able to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner, which we thought was great considering it’s a shepherds hut! The log burner made it ever so cozy, and the log fired hot tub really was a treat! Great footpaths around the area. We all, including our collie, had the most fabulous time!
Summary: Would stay here again, and would recommend to anyone who fancies a chilled out, relaxing stay!
