Summary: Our family and friends have been planning our stay for the eclipse viewing for over a year. We stayed at the wonderful Cabin on the Creek about 45 minutes from Waco, where we planned to view. It was a perfect relaxation spot that was just a short drive away from our eclipse viewing spot. Very private, very clean, everything provided for family meals. We highly recommend it.

Summary: The house was plenty big for us and my daughter and grand kids. The game room/bedroom was a big hit with my two grandsons, as well as the TV room. The kayaks were great fun. Did not catch fish, but enjoyed trying.

Summary: We had an amazing time during our stay. Didn’t check on expected water levels so didn’t have the opportunity to use the boats - disappointed but truly a seasonal issue. I miscalculated the bedrooms so slept on the couch - only two bedrooms downstairs and two sleeping areas above but not actual bedrooms w doors. Had plenty to make thanksgiving dinner and we enjoyed the family time. Would love to stay again esp if a fence is up so we can spend more time in the backyard wo dog concerns. Overall a great place for our extended family of 8 w pets.

Summary: Wonderful property! Cabin was so nice. The owners do a fantastic job. We had a fire in the fire pit and played croquet. The kitchen is big enough for cooking and socializing. The upper and lower porches were perfect for sitting outside. And the sunset was gorgeous!
