Positive: There is the park nearby. Kids can play outside the door without risk of cars or people complaining as it is a camping site.
Negative: We were in Chalet No5. Not that we a expected a Swiss style luxurious Chalet and comfort and that we are super clean but a spider in every corner, fat leftovers in the pan, ugly stains in the lids and unclean kitchen surfaces and sticky cuttlery is not exactly what we are used to traveling to similar places. Merely one pot, one pan, one sieve is not a lot of material to work with. The round table with its triangle chairs is a challenge for everyone taller or bigger sized. The staff was nice and cleaned a bit after we mentioned it but also just exactly the spots we said and left the rest as is. I think they rely on the customers to clean it all before they leave. Overall, I suggest a full clean with scrubbing after every guest. The sofa is clearly older, one of the steps of the ladder fixed by a wood panel. Supposedly this is going to be remodelled when the main season is over. We might return then but only when this is really done and a cleaning regime is installed.
Summary: It was ok after we cleaned the place to our standard.

Negative: The WiFi didn’t work at all and staff couldn’t fix it.

Positive: The site was lovely and peaceful
Negative: The chalet was very poor! The toilet / shower door was difficult to open, in fact father in law hurt finger! Toilet seat was loose, no rails in cupboard to hang close and despite reporting to the reception never got rectified, also bed in second bedroom, mattress awful!

Positive: The location of our cabin on the lake was superb and even though it is hard to catch fish in this lake we still enjoyed our experience fishing with our boys. The staff were very friendly to accommodate a mixup of bookings on their part to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. A laundryroom is present on site as well.
Negative: The electricity went out one night and the beds in the cabin could do with some refurbishing. Towels and toilet paper were not provided so bring your own.

Positive: Loved the location, the peace and quiet, the lake and nearby facilities, loved the walks
Negative: 2nd and 3rd bedrooms were VERY small and cramped, would be OK for small children but are awkward for adults, nowhere to put anything, or hang any smart clothes for our event. The lounge had only 3 seats for a possible 9 people. We didn't know there would be no towels, no drying up cloths, no chopping board, no serving bowls. The shower floor is dangerously slippery, we had to go buy a non-slip bath mat, and had to search 3 different shops to find one.
Summary: Loved it, will come again, but will be better prepared and bring more of our own stuff next time.
