Nestled behind Wentworth Falls Village, just a 20-minute stroll away, Camellia Cottage is your serene retreat in the heart of the Blue Mountains. Surrounded by lush gardens that bloom year-round, this charming cottage offers the perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and natural beauty.
Thoughtfully Prepared for Your Stay
We personally clean and maintain the cottage between every stay to ensure it meets the highest standards. Inside, you’ll find:
• Bedrooms: 3 bedrooms containing of 2 queen beds (with Koala mattresses) and 2 king singles, all equipped with electric blankets for those cool mountain nights. Hot water bottles are also available for added coziness. There is a travel cot with linen and 2 highchairs. Both stored in twin bedroom.
• Kitchen & Laundry: A fully equipped kitchen with a gas cooktop, electric oven, new Breville Barista Express Coffee machine, Brita filtered water jug in fridge, rice cooker, sandwich press, milkshake machine, slow cooker and everything you would find in a cooks kitchen. Laundry facilities are also available for your convenience.
• Living & Dining: A comfortable living area leading to a dining room and one queen bedroom, located just two steps down from the main space.
• Heating & Cooling: Multiple heating options, including a slow-combustion fireplace (closed Nov–Apr due to fire safety), gas heating, reverse-cycle air conditioning, and blow heaters in the bedroom robes.
Modern Comforts
Stay connected with free Wi-Fi throughout the house (access code provided in the guest information booklet). Linens, towels, and essentials like shampoo, conditioner, and soaps are all provided for your convenience.
Pet-Friendly
The fully fenced backyard is perfect for your four-legged companions (up to 2 dogs). Please seek permission when booking to bring your fur babies a $60 pet fee is charged per stay.
Check-In & Policies
Keys are accessible via a lockbox, with the code provided the evening before your arrival. To ensure a peaceful stay, we kindly ask that there be no parties and that only registered guests stay on the property. please note that no E-bikes or E-Scooters are to be bought onto the property.

Summary: A peaceful, comfortable and beautifully presented. The location is very close to the local town and convenient for exploring other towns, walks and scenic look outs and landmarks in the Blue Mountains. Julie and Barry were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

Summary: We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at July and Barry's place.The cottage was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The amenities provided were top-notch, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.We will definitely be back! ( we hope next time the weather will be better)

Summary: Can’t recommend this place enough!! The host made us feel right at home as soon as we arrived with a cute welcome hamper and a bottle of wine! Great location near all the sights and hikes near the Blue Mountains. We explored the region during the day and always looked forward to coming back to the cottage each night to wind down on the sofa. Our dogs really enjoyed the garden which was beautifully maintained and fully fenced. The house was really clean and supplies were adequate for the duration of our stay. Would definitely stay here again if we are ever near Wentworth falls in future! :)

Summary: Camellia Cottage is an ideal retreat for exploring the Blue Mountains, offering a peaceful escape from the usual tourist spots. The cottage itself is immaculate, with tasteful decor and impeccable cleanliness. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, and the luxurious linen adds an extra touch of indulgence. The owners have thoughtfully provided a well-stocked pantry, and the kitchen and BBQ are perfect for those who love to cook. The backyard is secure and perfect for small dogs, allowing them to roam safely, and the cozy fireplace was a wonderful feature during the chilly nights. We look forward to returning for another relaxing stay soon!

Summary: Our family group of 8, (5 humans, 3 fur babies), stayed at Camellia Cottage for two nights. We were attending a wedding in Mount Wilson, with reception at the Conservation Hut in Wentworth Falls. For the 3 pups: the yard was spacious and secure, with plenty of under cover areas for sleeping. We are so grateful that Julie & Barry allowed us to have the 3 dogs stay as one was ring bearer in the wedding. For the 5 humans: the house was beautifully presented with lots of thoughtful touches, spotlessly clean, comfortable and cosy. It was lovely being able to light the fire and relax in the warmth. The kitchen has great facilities and the basket of complimentary snacks was very much appreciated, especially the wine, popcorn, and coffee pods. All beds were very comfortable and fitted with electric blankets for those who feel the cold. The bathroom was lovely and we never ran out of hot water. The house is perfectly situated in a quiet leafy spot; it is peaceful and calm and the cottage gardens are stunning. We would love to stay again and highly recommend this property. Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this property to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary (with our 2 Cavoodles in tow). The home is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully appointed by its owners Julie and Barry with everything you could possibly need to make your stay relaxing and stress-free. The complimentary hamper was an extra touch which was very warmly received. Wentworth Falls is a peaceful spot with its own shopping area and is in close proximity to Leura and Katoomba. We loved walking around the local area with our dogs (who also had a brilliant time exploring the fully enclosed and pet safe back garden). Thank you Julie and Barry, we can’t wait to stay with you again!

Summary: Camellia Cottage was such a cosy and tranquil place to relax and recharge. The home was beautifully decorated and was complete with everything you think you might need and a welcome hamper was a nice touch. Plenty of pillows and blankets with comfortable sheets and electric blankets for the chilly nights. The area was quiet with lots of beautiful trees and flowers and plenty of bird calls. My favourite part was relaxing with a cuppa in the morning sun in the beautiful big windows which let in plenty of warmth and light. We truely loved this place!
