Positive: Edwin was very friendly and accommodating. He lifted us to and from our car 4 times and made a fun game drive out of it. We loved that we had the camp all to ourselves and the braai area is amazing.Nibbles the resident nyala came to visit us and we fed her carrots. The kitchen is well equipped. We went for a walk and spotted giraffe and buck. The pool area is lovely for afternoon reading in the sun. It's only an hour from Addo and far superior experience to staying in the town of Addo.
Negative: The beds were incredibly hard...like sleeping on a rock. I can't imagine anyone finding them comfortable. The listing should be clearer in terms of directions to get there and that you drop your car off and get a game drive up to the accommodation. While we really didn't mind this, I think it may not appeal to everyone
Summary: Camp Acacia is Dreamy!

Positive: The location is absolutely stunning. It felt like paradise. Beautifully furnished, too. Edwin gave us such a warm welcome and already on the drive to the camp we passed Rhinos, Zebras, Girafs and other animals.
Negative: Nothing

Positive: The camp manager Edwin was super friendly and helpful. The location of the camp was awesome. You are surrounded by nature and animals and have a fantastic view. There are various houses and every single one of them is so comfortable and you can relax perfectly. The kitchen is well equipped and the pool has the perfect location.
Negative: The location of the camp was wrong in booking. We needed to do several calls in order to get the information of the right gate. So the arrival was complicated. Please note that you can't drive to the camp by yourself, you need to be shuttled in and out through the Amakhala Game Reserve. If you want to do any trips on your own (e.g. Addo NP) you need to be shuttled to your car as well and you will be charged for that in the end, which we didn't know.

Positive: An incredible oasis for ourselves! We enjoyed every second of our serene stay in the beautiful South African wilderness. Caretaker Edvin and his lovely family were so accomodating and friendly. Imagine having giraffes and zebras outside your doorstep, and being able to hike to them. The ammenities were great and everything we needed was there. Such great value for money, we are truly content and would love to return!
Negative: Nothing really. We had to bring our own baby cot but that was fine.
Summary: Our top stay on our South African roadtrip. Wilderness and serenity in your very own camps!

Positive: This place exceeded our expectations. You have the whole camp to yourself in the middle of safari. Edwin was excellent and on the ride to and from the car park treated us to a mini safari. The place was well equipped and being able to walk around with giraffes was incredible. The WiFi worked in the lounge area.
Negative: The kitchen was missing chopping boards. The beds were very comfortable but were small doubles.
