Camp Champion - OTSEGO LAKE WATERFRONT This charming 3-bedroom vacation home is newly renovated with contemporary kitchen and 2 baths. It has all of the conveniences for a comfortable and affordable lakeside family vacation in the Cooperstown area. The screened-in front porch is just right for relaxing and enjoying the fresh country air. Guests enjoy the unmatched views of the ever beautiful Otsego Lake.
Camp Champion is located in a quiet waterfront community. Guests enjoy access to Otsego Lake, just across the yard in front of the camp. You have access to 100 feet of private waterfront, shared with the owners (your host). The waterfront is very child-friendly. Your host provides a two kayaks for your enjoyment. The dock can accommodate a motor boat no larger 22'.
Camp Champion is a "legacy camp" that has been passed down through the generations for 80 years. The original owner was Clyde Champion Shults, the current owner's grandfather. A gem on the water!

Summary: We loved our stay at Lake Champion. The lake is a short walk across the street to a shared dock. We were able to use the kayaks there, swim (clean sandy bottom) and fish with our own poles. The home was very clean and perfect for our stay while we watched our older sons play baseball. It’s about a 20 minute drive to Dreams Park and 10 minutes to the Hall of Fame. We would definitely stay again if we go back to Cooperstown!

Summary: We had such a wonderful time at Camp Champion! Armin and Nancy were so welcoming and accommodating. The house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The kitchen was well stocked and it was very nice to have a washer and dryer. We even took advantage of all the extras too - kayaking, canoeing and s'mores over the fire pit! The lake view was so pretty and coffee on the front porch is a must! The home was an easy drive to local restaurants and stores, as well as Cooperstown Dreams Park, making our commute back and forth from the park seamless. We highly recommend Camp Champion! We even think it brought us luck getting to the Final Four ;) Quick note: The second bathroom is downstairs, separate from the bedrooms upstairs. This was not a problem for us, but just a heads up!
