Positive: Camp Podkraj is truly a hidden gem! From the very first moment, we felt welcomed not as guests, but as part of the family. Everything was spotless — especially the bathrooms, which were always very clean, and there is also the possibility to do your laundry, which is a great convenience during a longer stay. But what makes this place truly special is the people. This is not just a family business — it is a family built on love. And some things simply cannot be bought with money: genuine hospitality, warmth, kindness, and the feeling of belonging. Marina spoiled us with her delicious homemade food, while Idžo, a true walking encyclopedia of the region’s history, made our stay even more interesting with his stories. Another wonderful older gentleman also welcomed us warmly and made us feel completely at home. Nina and Vuksan are an amazing young couple who are always ready to help. For anything you wish to visit, Vuksan will give you the best possible advice and recommendations. The location is magical — close to beautiful waterfalls where you can swim in crystal-clear, drinkable water, as well as beautiful Buljarica and breathtaking Lake Skadar, where we highly recommend taking a boat trip. Camp Podkraj is much more than a place to stay. You arrive as a guest, but you leave feeling like part of the family. We wholeheartedly recommend it! ❤️

Positive: Everything! Beautiful surroundings, good breakfast and dinner for a reasonable price. The owner gave us lifts to the village and picked us up again. Comfortable tents, no faults at all.

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at this camping site. The location is absolutely amazing and the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing getaway. The place has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Vuksan (the host) is very friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Highly recommended!

Positive: Definitely one of the best stays in Montenegro during my holiday. A very quiet area surrounded partially by the mountains. Very hospital and welcoming owners, I stayed at the owners tent as next morning I had plans so I had to leave early. There is a possibility to stay with your own tent and you should pay less than staying on the owners one. Delicious food, for dinner there is an option with meat and vegetarian food, delicious breakfast. From the past comments I read the owners extended sanitary area where there are more showers. The location is not far from the main road and from Virpazar where most of the Skadar Lake Cruises start. If I come back to Montenegro I'll surely stay there again!
Negative: My GPS didn't show the location correctly, I drove inside the stone road and I wondered if I would stay here for a moment, fortunately a local seller told me where the location exactly is so I reached it. Also last 200m is not an asphalt road.

Positive: Our flight was delayed and we arrived very late in the night. The owners kindly set our tents up and sent us a picture to get to them on our arrival. All the family was very friendly and facilities were clean all the time

Positive: We stayed in a tent for two people which was very comfortable. The experience of staying in such an isolated place was amazing in itself. The breakfast was incredible. There is a river nearby with clean, freezing water, which was a blessing. The hosts (a family) themselves are perhaps the best thing about this beautiful place: they were lovely, extremely friendly, always trying to help. The host even drove us all the way to the bus station in Podgorice as his daughter had an appointment at the dentist's. Thought this went beyond what most hosts are willing to do. Would gladly stay there again.
