Positive: The host Marko was very helpful. He's a real people person, enjoying interacting with his guests and trying to make their stay as memorable as possible. We went on one of his boat trips on lake Skadar which was most enjoyable. He also invited us into his little winery where we tasted his own very nice wine. The view from the cottage is superb. Highly recommended.
Negative: A long uphill path/steps up to the cottage for someone with arthritic knees but Marko helps with the luggage and the view once up more than makes up for the inconvenience.

Positive: Beautiful studio overlooking a vineyard which is 500 years old. The studio has all needed facilities and a lovely sheltered patio where you can sit and enjoy a panoramic view whilst sampling the local vino. Highly recommended

Positive: Marko is a wonderful host who made us feel very much at home in his beautifully appointed apartment. The apartment was spacious, well equipped and comfortable, with exceptional views from the balcony over the mountains. We enjoyed a wine tasting with him and were very impressed by the quality of his red wine.

Positive: Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The apartment is great. It's serene in the wineyard, the sunset from the balcony is beautiful, the interior is very tasteful and it was very clean. Marko is an amazing host. He gave us many recommendations for the region according to our preferences. His boat tour and the wine tasting were really good. The breakfast was also very tasty, and vegetarian/vegan food was no problem. He truely cares for his guests.

Positive: Wow, what an amazing experience. From the first moment, it is 100% clear that Marko hosts because he loves doing it. On the night before of our arrival he reached out to us to explain in detail how to reach the place and offered us his boat rides and breakfast/dinner options. After we comfortably arrived we were greeted by Marko who explained about the property which is all family owned for many years. He helped carry the luggage and showed us to the beautiful apartment, which was incredibly clean, well equipped and welcoming to stay in. Marko later took us on a boat tour which can only be described as god damn magical. He took his time, explained and answered questions about the heritage and Montenegro and took us to the best spots around lake Skadar. He also brought some snacks, fruits and even his crazy Grappa (alcohol) which was very good. Later on even though we gave a very short notice, Marko got us an INCREDIBLE dinner from his mother’s local restaurant - a whole fish which was just amazing, including Marko’s amazing homemade wine. The overall experience felt so personal and authentic that we will definitely be back in the future and also recommend anyone we know to visit Marko

Positive: Everything! We travel a lot but we never had such a kind and enthusiastic host as Marko. He knows a lot about the region and took us with really nice private boot tour on the lake. The house itself is also great and really clean. Our daughter was also the biggest fan of Marko. We could recommend this place to everyone who loves nature. We will definitely be back again one day!

Positive: The apartments were very private with terrace or balcony, and very comfortable and clean. But what made our stay here exceptional was Marko, the best host ever! He is knowledgeable and passionate about the area, and really cares that you have a good time. We took a wonderful 3 hour boat trip with him on Lake Skadar, and I’m quite sure that he offered a better experience than any of the other tour operators. He also gave us tips for hikes and day trips. We loved him! He’s reason alone to stay at Prevalis over anywhere else.
Negative: There is a bit of a steep walk through the garden to get up to the cottages - the con for getting privacy and views. But (Super-)Marko helps with your luggage, so not a problem. Payment is only in cash - this is mentioned in the booking conditions but we had forgotten - and the cash machines in Virpazar weren’t working when we were there, so make sure you bring enough cash with you. I would suggest Marko reminds guests before they arrive.

Positive: Marko is an exceptional host; friendly, hospitable and kind. Nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation is beautiful, comfortable and well-equipped as Marko went to great lengths to ensure that. We booked a boat tour with him and also a dinner on the estate. He shared lots of local information about the lake and its surroundings during our boat tour. Dinner was also delicious - the carp was fresh and delectable. My husband really enjoyed the wine that Marko made. He also happily gave recommendations for restaurants and places of interest in Virpazar. Can't recommend this place enough!
