Positive: I would go back, I had an old cabin the new cabins looked much better and had better WiFi.
Summary: Cheap and cheerful but the kitchen utensils could do with a clean, the staff where really nice.

Positive: Outside of the season, the mobile house was a comfy and quiet stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Negative: No bottle opener but an amiable staff opened the wine for us.

Positive: The place is well known and close to a mythic wine environment. I love Cecina’s region as it is the place where my family stayed every holidays since 1945 starting with my grandparents.
Negative: The receptionist are very kind and cimmunicate well throughout the booking.com message tool. We had discussed the organization of the bungalows since a while and I did pay the full package already months ago. However I was sadly surprised of the contrary when we arrived. Even if we pre-advised 4 or 5 times the hotel we will not be able to check in before 5-6pm (6pm being closure of reception), we had the unfortunate experience to be welcomed by an overwhelming office receptionist who gave the impression to be fed up with us because of our arrival 15 minutes before closure. We were just done with 15 hours drive along with 4 little kids and 9 adults who were very exhausted and we were forced to wait a further 30 minutes to finalize the very heavy check in. To this, the receptionist added a further 15-20 minutes to wait for us to get the badge of the main gate which was closing at 7pm not allowing us to get organized and arrange a descent dinner for 12 of our starving family members.the key of the gate wasn’t prepared for us in advance, it doesn’t make sense to me as I was asked to follow a guy who was chasing another guy who was finally able to let us have the badge 30 minutes later. To add to this, the receptionist didn’t accept the fact I already paid the full stay to booking.com and forced me to pay again after all this unwelcoming moodiness. The rooms weren’t pre-heated, the water didn’t work in 3 of the 4 bungalows we booked. We weren’t informed we will not have first kit of soap etc. we couldn’t get before the day after. And finally, the restaurant of the hotel wasn’t opened. We hope we will better prepared if a day we try to come again and have a commercial effort to compensate this lukewarm warm experience.
