Negative: I thought the smaller pods were maybe too small for a group of 4 as the ventilation is only a small window and you don’t want to have to leave your door open during the night

Positive: Gave us a true camping experience. Feels homey. The host was very responsive and accommodating.
Negative: The toilet facilities might have been under maintenance and some shower drains were clogged. Sometimes water output would be low. The room was nice albeit a bit dusty.

Positive: The location was beautiful, great little space. The pod was clean, the lamp and heater were great that were provided as standard. Great value for money Great instructions on how to get there, really easy to find.
Negative: Check in was 5 o'clock, and coming from Perth, we toddled up the road for this time, however was then told we could check in from 3 when we were only in aviemore. Communication for this would have been better earlier in the morning. Once at the pod, due to it being darker at nights now, the site was basically in darkness, reception was closed, which we were told about before but the pods were not lit, there was no lightning on the grounds to show the surroundings which would enhance the beauty of it. Some solar lights for the pathway or some seeing lights on the trees would be great. Signage would be great, there was no signs to show where the toilets were. As we are smokers, we seen the sign for " smoking area this way " we followed the arrow, to nowhere. There was one other sign that said " your designated smoking area is " but this was blank. I think just better signs would be great. Our pod was amazing but on the porch you really kindly provided a little battery operated lantern, which didn't have batteries so couldn't be used. Timer in the bathroom. My partner went for a shower and didn't know the lights were timed, so whilst washing her hair, the lights went off which meant she had to leave the cubical to wave the lights back on, which wasn't great.
