Summary: The house was fantastic; we really enjoyed staying here. It was great to light a fire and play card games in the living room while it was freezing cold and snowing outside. The view was awesome. We had a little trouble finding the place in the dark, with signs covered in snow. Maps sent us a couple houses down, but it was a fantastic place to stay.

Summary: My husband and I decided to go to Scotland for our 10th anniversary, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. I have heavy Scottish heritage through my maternal line, and have always felt drawn. Turns out even picking this place was a draw... There is a crest above the fireplace that said "MacDonald of Clanranald", which would have been started by the brother of my Glengarry line. It was meant to be! The views from Mor Carraig are awe-inspiring. We had incredible weather and loved the sunrises. We visited a lot of different places all over the Highlands. Being US travelers that are used to driving everywhere... It's a great jumping off point. The roads can be a little scary though. Mor Carraig itself was great. We enjoyed sitting in the conservatory, and the living room was very comfortable in the evening. The cooking supplies could use a refresh (pans, cooking utensils, pizza cutter), but otherwise the kitchen worked great. Something to note is that one of the pictures shows a dryer in the utility room, but it's not on the description and it's not there. That's my bad for not looking at the description closer... But just make sure you are prepared to hang your clothes! There's racks for that purpose, and we made use of the conservatory to help speed it up as well. We would most definitely stay again! Thank you so much!
