The room is located in the heart of Amsterdam opposite the Jordaan area. City center is all around but the house is still in a quiet spot.
The suit face the courtyard you can enter from your room.The room is cosy, quiet and quirky. Height is 1.85 mtr under the 17th cent. beams. You have a private entrance, so you'll be free to go in and out. Free Wifi /Internet. Private souna-bath & toilet with sliding door. You can choose one double bed or two singles. A kitchenette with your private refrigerator a one pit stove and microwave. Our apartment is not very suitable for people with physical disabilities because there are some uneven steps in the house.
We have also a small boat 'as terrace' where you can sit on if the sun is out. In the garden you can relax or smoke.
Dam Square 5 min walk, Ann Frank house and Jordaan 2 min. walk and 10 min walk to Leidseplein square,. The museums are a short walk away, as are the Vondelpark, the Flower Market and the Waterlooplein. There are many public transport lines whit in 4 min walk. The neighborhood has many good restaurants, bars, cafes, coffee shops, groceries, bakers, and boutiques. Off late booking posible. Additional: with me you can also rent a camperbus after your stay here, to explore the Netherlands. Ask for the possibilities. Minimum days rental is 10 days.

Summary: quick trip to see a band. Amazing location for anywhere in Amsterdam. small garden and boat on canal make for a nice break with a glass of wine. Apt as described... quirky but that is exactly what I was looking for.

Summary: Got there early and informed by owner all okay to check in early. Location is excellent right where we wanted to be. The room was great we liked it a lot very quirky and a very comfortable bed. Probably not to everyone’s taste but fine for us. Late check out was available informed by owner all okay.

Summary: Cozy unit below ground. Host was extremely sweet and helpful. I wouldn’t recommend if you are over 6 ft tall as the ceilings are incredibly low. Location is incredible on the canals and very central, but away from the craziness of the center of the city.

Summary: Thought we were walking into a lovely little vintage shop which led us into a cozy quirky apartment. Everything you need with few little extras and a wonderful deep bath. Not the place to stay if your looking for modern style furnishings. Plumbing is a little noisy and on occasion a little smelly and you have to pay extra for the sauna. Anne Marie is a very helpful and informative host.

Summary: Loved everything about the location. Beautiful garden. Easy to access other locations. Well supplied kitchen with all items needed for cooking. I could not ask for a better place, plus owner was very kind and responded to questions quickly. We absolutely loved it.
