Summary: House was exactly as detailed. Everything worked out great. Pool and hot tubs were great. Location was in the country side but close enough to get Ubers to downtown Asheville and drive to hiking trails. Walmart was about 10 min away. Host was responsive. 5 stars all around.

Summary: Our group of 10 were ranging in ages from 9months to 70. Overall the property was nice. There was enough space for our group to sleep and fellowship comfortably. There were some overgrowth of the landscape that made us not be able to enjoy the large, vast yard that is shown in the photos. With the overgrowth of grass we didn’t let our kids run through the yard, which was a draw to the home. The pool area needs some maintenance (fencing falling apart, etc) The bushes at the end of the drive need to be cut back for safety to be able to turn out of the driveway to the road. Major safety concern. There was a broken hot tub on the porch and another one to use in its place. However, during our 5 night stay the hot tub never got above 90 degrees. When we got there, the AC upstairs wasn’t working and we had to contact the owners. They were swift with getting it fixed, especially for a Sunday check in. Overall the house was nice, older plumbing and layout.

Summary: Comfy beds and furnishings, but the unit needs work. Bathrooms are outdated with damp smells, small toilets, and not the nicest showers. The main floor has two bedrooms that share a small bathroom and there is a master bath that is nicer with its own bathroom. The kitchen was nice and well equipped. The hot tub wasn’t heating and needed repair and cleaning upon arrival, but the owners sent repair person right away and it was operational the next day. The pool is large, but was not really clean when we arrived. No TV’s in the bedrooms upstairs or in the queen downstairs. Dishwasher was not working. The main TV did not get ABC or ESPN 3, so we missed being able to watch the game both nights. But, the owners provided new ping pong paddles, chalk, and darts for the kids to use. The garage was a big hit! Not too far from grocery, maybe a 10-15 min ride. I will probably look for a more upscale place next time, especially considering the price included a ton of extra fees. In fact the fees were almost as much as the nightly rate total. Owners were a pleasure to deal with. They were super communicative and responsive. They refunded the $38 hot tub fee. Despite some complications, we still enjoyed our experience overall and are glad we stayed.

Summary: The property was great for getting away from the usual hustle and bustle! The quiet surroundings and great pool area with a mountain view was amazing!

Summary: My family really enjoyed our stay at this property last week. The house was roomy enough for our group (5 adults and 5 children aged 1 to 6). The huge dining table allowed us all to eat together. The kids were especially excited about the toy room upstairs and the garage playroom with the air hockey table and the basketball game. We spent our afternoons playing in the pool which was a refreshing escape from the heat. The house location was perfect for exploring downtown Asheville, Chimney Rock park, and the parks and restaurants of Fletcher and Arden.
